Crimes of Nazi "Angel of Death" of Treblinka who killed prisoners dressed as medic - August Miete

August Miete was born on the 1st of November 1908 in Westerkappeln then part of the German Empire. Miete was a son of a miller and farmer and after finishing elementary school he followed in his father’s footsteps and learnt the miller handicraft. After his father died in 1921, together with his brother, Miete worked on the family farm and as a grinder in the flour mill. He got married and had 3 children.
The Second World War began on 1 September 1939, when Nazi Germany invaded Poland. At the beginning of the following year, Miete joined the Nazi Party, and showed an interest in becoming a settler in the East and asked about it at his local agricultural chamber. The local Münster agriculture chamber advised Miete about a job at Grafeneck Euthanasia Centre. He accepted an offer to work on the farm that was attached to Grafeneck and soon became involved in the T-4 Euthanasia Program.

John Demjanjuk was a Travniki guard and clearly lied during his trial in Israel. He was guilty and his family is guilty for supporting him

@@AMP-pr5zq Demjanjuk wasn’t Ivan The Terrible he likely served in Sibibor and we do have photos of Trawniki guards with one that definitely resembles Demjanjuk. Ivan The Terrible was Ivan Marchenko who we do have a picture of and he and Demjanjuk look nothing alike.

Family link to the Doria. My great uncle was emigrating to America for work. His luggage was on the ship but it was delayed in Genoa (?) He had the good fortune to be able to fly to America but his luggage was unable to come on the jet as it was in the hold. What’s left of that luggage is now at the bottom of the Atlantic. Got to see the cause of of the sinking when the MV Athena came to Fremantle in 2012. Was unaware at the time it was the MV Stockholm.
