Another great study!!! 🤗💜 Just remember you don’t “have” to give up anything to follow Jesus. IF you truly excepted Christ as your Savior, you will “want” to give up your old ways and old life. He makes you a new creature and creation in Jesus but Only you can make that choice. I can’t make it for you. The Robertson’s can’t make if for you. Only you and Jesus working together makes the changes in your life. Surrender your life to Jesus. I promise you He will help and lead you. 🤗💜

I love going to church . I've been going since I was a little girl . I went to work for this lady who owned her own beauty shop . I only worked there part time, because I was running my own house cleaning business . I went to school with her daughter . I knew several other people that work in the beauty shop way before I started working their . I thought at 1st this was going to be a wonderful place to work . Unfortunately , it wasn't what I thought . The lady that ran the beauty shop sang in the choir at her church . She invited me to her church, so I agreed to go . I had a church that I was going to , but that church was having some problems that I didn't feel comfortable with . I didn't know if I should have continued going to that church or not . So , I thought well maybe God's calling me to go to this other church that my boss attends . So , I started going . I was saved when I was 11 yrs . old , but I never got the chance to be Baptized . So , on Easter Sunday 2004 my son and I both were Baptized . The lady I worked for criticized me because my husband didn't get up and pray for me and our son that day . At the beauty shop she was always criticizing me and trying to embrace me . It hurt my feels and I couldn't understand why . She would say things like , you need to go back to school to do hair . She knew I didn't have the money to that . If someone came in with a baby. I would sweet talk ( baby talk ) with the baby and they would always smiles and laugh . I just love babies . Well , in my bosses eyes I should not have been doing that . It was almost like she was jealous of me . She'd say something like , Bonnie can you go do this or that . Then I'd look over there and she would be playing with the baby. The only reason why I was playing with the clients baby was because when that mom comes in to get her hair fixed , she needs an extra hand . I was just trying to help that's all , but that mademy boss mad or jealous . She made it very clear to me that she had money and I didn't . She always turned her nose up at me . One day she was wanting to advertise her new business that she bought that was beside the beauty shop . It was a place to hold parties and events . She said , we should dress Bonnie up and make her stand out there and hold a sign to advertise my new business . That did it for me !!!! As a woman ..... that really hurt my feelings , because they were all laughing about it . Like I'm the butt of all of their jokes . I finally asked her , DO I LOOK LIKE I HAVE THE WORDS , " DOOR MAT " ACROSS MY FOREHEAD ?!! I just walked away and went back to work . I didn't work their long . I finally went to work somewhere else . You know we are all supposed to be the same at the foot of the cross . At least that's what I have been taught . I just try to forgive her and pray that God will help me understand why does people have to hurt me like that . I will never lose my faith on count of people like that . My husband and I have since joined another church several years ago . I hope I'm never cold hearted and mean to people the way she was towards me . God knows people's heart . I know God will continue to love me . He comes 1st . If no one ever loves me ..... I know that God loves me . Jesus said , have the heart of a child and I do and there's nothing wrong with that .

To answer your question Jase, people are probably asking how to avoid temptation at this time because of this plandemic. I see people commenting all over youtube about losing their home's, being evicted, trying to figure out how they are gonna feed their kid's, because the job they had is not essential, and they are vying with the other few million people who are in the same position for a low income job at some clip joint like wal mart, that is half the pay of the jobs they went to school for. Our country has not seen joblessness like this since the great depression, and people are being tempted, not because they want to be, but because they are struggling. I give money to people when I can, see a lot of people holding up signs asking for help. I pray for those out there who are struggling, and have been in their shoes before, not a good feeling. God Bless everyone.

35:01 - 35:22 I think it is actually worse than calling it hypocritical & it is something that is not really talked about in western churches (or more likely afraid to talk about it). It is the danger of apostacy.

Back in the day when you entered a city at night they utilized what was called a needle gate. And a camel would have to unload everything it was carrying and get on its knees to crawl through. so what that particular verse is referencing is that you will have to unload your ill-gotten gains. So in other words if you are rich with illegally or immorally obtained money it will be difficult for you to get into heaven. If you are rich because God has blessed you, you are perfectly fine.
@gunsquawk44434 жыл бұрын
Negative. It don't say needle gate, it says eye of a needle. Quit trying to change the Bible.
@huckle19534 жыл бұрын
@@gunsquawk4443 I don't think Nick C is changing anything, rather he is attempting to put the verse in context according to the circumstances at the time it was written. Taken virtually, what you said means it is impossible for a rich man to enter heaven. I don't think that's true. Difficult, yes, impossible, no. And then there is the term 'rich'. Being rich in material wealth is a different threshold for different people. Not looking for argument, just suggesting that this may be subject to meditate and pray on.

Hey Al I was watching an old episode 60, Presidential Philosophy. Can you tell me what book Phil is reading from, I think I’ve seen him read from it before. Sounds like a good read. Any other books Phil would recommend, besides the Bible of course! Jesus Politics is arriving here tomorrow, can’t wait to read it. I really enjoy Unashamed,and In The Woods, you guys keep up the good work. Phil 👍

Perhaps a teen or preteen dating and abstinence book could be awesome for young Christians. It sometimes sinks in better when it comes from someone other than your parents. Plus Jase has the cool factor. They would actually listen. I'd buy it, just saying. God bless.

Teach them from childhood that you love them and that they can come to you and that won’t be the case.

I have that problem on my channel (much less viewers). A friend of mine said that too many likes fills up the suggested and messes up their list of music they like.

I don’t generally hit like. On some yes. Most, I feel are too short or they say crass things that are not very holy. Or I disagree with some of what they are teaching. Or I find too many commercials in their vids.

I heard a guy say that you need to try out a woman before getting married like you would a car. I was thinking of reasons why that’s a bad philosophy. The number one thing why you should wait until marriage is because God said to wait. Now It is true that Jesus changes people but if you can get a women who is a Christian and has saved herself for her husband the chances of her cheating on you goes way down compared to someone who has been around the block.
