In one of the wildest stories ever, Jase gets attacked by an earwig (no, it's not folklore!), Phil and Blue get caught in a fire ant bed, and Al covers his ears while talking about Moses and the plagues.

Hey guys, I have been down the bug road too! After coming in from the field I have found strange critters on myself. Doesn't stop me from going back. Haha. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46.10, Be still and know that I am God. When I learned it as a child I figured it meant, sit down, shut up, and let me prove it to you. So now I go out in the woods, sit down, and he does. Wether I hunt, fish, or hike, I see and hear God there. My Mom said once that people can't hear God cuz there mouths were moving. Wise woman of the faith.

Thank you so much for these videos!! My 14 almost 15 went through a season of questioning if God was the truth and refused to read different devotional bible studies and different Bibles I would buy him to try to get into the word for him to get all of his questions answered and then I found the Bible you and Am have your stories in because my son loved Duck Dynasty he was all in it and was then able to use at to answer his questions and realize that God is the truth that the Bible will give him all of his answers to all of his questions! This Bible now is Our Family Bible that we use! My son will remind me if we don't do it in the morning now to do our Bible study and time with God together Thank you! Pepperdine University was founded in 1939 and Dr. Batsell Barrett Baxter's father was the first College President. Dr. Batsell Barrett Baxter later became the Chairman of the Department of Bible at David Lipscomb College in Nashville and was the Host on both the radio and television shows of the "Herald of Truth" and it had a national syndication. I knew Dr. Baxter when I attended David Lipscomb College back in the late 1960'a and he was a fine Christian man. George Pepperdine also earlier (about 1910) founded the Western Auto Stores in Kansas City, MO and much later sold out his interests in Western Auto using most of the money he got from the sale to found the then Pepperdine College in 1939 in the Watts area of Los Angeles . George Pepperdine's Western Auto Stores also sold the old Truetone vacuum tube radios that many people, especially in the South had at the time. They were good radios and cheaper than other more expensive brands such as Zenith and RCA Victor. Truetone was the brand name of the vacuum tube radios and televisions sold at Western Auto Stores although contracted out with electronic companies to actually make the radios they sold in their Western Auto Stores. George Pepperdine sold a lot of Truetone vacuum tube radios through his Western Auto Stores, of which I have two old one's that have been restored. During his lifetime after founding George Pepperdine College in Los Angeles, George Pepperdine was always on the Campus sitting in on the various classes until his death in 1963. The Pepperdine Campus was initially built in Watts but later the land (much larger) was given to them for a new Campus and it is now located in Malibu, California overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States and highly respected. Initially in the early days Bible classes were required daily as were Chapel services, but that is no longer the case at Pepperdine. I think they do use the Auditorium there for regular Sunday church of Christ services. Sadly many of the students who now attend Pepperdine don't even know of its' roots and connection to the churches of Christ. Although it is still with the churches of Christ, those early requirements of daily Bible Classes and daily Chapel services are no longer required for all students. I guess only now for those who wish to take them. It is also known today as one of the most "partying schools" in the United States. So be careful as the good is there but so is the evil. I think George Pepperdine might just turn over in his grave if he could see what has happened today to the College he founded and based on the teachings of the churches of Christ in 1939.

I know God set the 10 Commandments as the standard that no one can keep so we'd know we need a Savior, Jesus is our Savior, God in human form. I'm so thankful that He, His Spirit in us when we believe and receive and confess Him openly, causes us to change in our hearts and we do begin to live by that standard, but because we begin to change. It's the fruit born from the Lord planting Himself within each of us personally... And thank you men of God for your Unashamed stand for Him, and encouraging us and others to trust God with all of our hearts and He will truly direct our paths. Maranatha boys, Walter, a watchman from Washington state ✝️🙏💖🔜🌅

Phil I very much enjoy your television show. I having been brought up in the churches of Christ have always felt a certain kinship in that reason alone. My Grandmother made us all memorize many verses, but one that I say to myself almost daily. "Study to show they approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth" I was born in Alabama in 1949, and moved to California about 1981. I own a house here now, but it is costing me more that I have and it needs to be sold as there is equity in it anyway even without the improvements. The old money pit syndrome and I am just tired of the whole situation out here. Even the churches of Christ are not the same, and getting worse I have felt that same issue with my ears also, so I know what you are talking about! Those critters love ear holes! I have found that pouring a little Hydrogen Peroxide on a cotton swab and just rubbing the outside of the ear (so that some of the liquid can run down into the ear) can kill bacteria that can build up in the ear. You can hear it sizzling and you know it is helping your ear. It can also be an insect that gets in the ear. Ear Wax Remove Products also have Hydrogen Peroxide in them also and you can hear them sizzle also when using them.. Insects do get in your ear and they will bite your eardrum and the wall of the ear. It is very painful just knowing something is crawling around in your head and you can't get it out, plus there is REAL PAIN. The Hydrogen Peroxide might kill them, as I know it won't hurt as it is in the Ear Wax Removal products. The Fire ants also got me one time back in Alabama and I almost suffocated. I went to the Hospital and they gave me Benadryl which helped with the swelling, as my throat was swelling up and cutting off my air. Once the swelling went down I was fine. I have retired now and want to move back somewhere South (can't take California any longer) but things have just not worked out as of yet and I am older and alone, so the Lord must be thinking otherwise, but it may also be me in not just getting up and get going as I dread the packing of all the stuff I have collected (mainly old restored vacuum tube radios and record players) and just moving out of here. I need to figure out where to move and also how to get it done in the best fashion not damaging my old radios. Any prayers you and yours can remember for me in this regard will be appreciated, as I do have family in Alabama and Florida, but I am beginning to wonder if they really want me back there again. Your prayers will be appreciated. R. M.

Thank you so much for these. Just got fired from my job after 5 weeks of training in California for no specifc reason. I stuck out like a sore thumb because I talked about the Bible and they didn't seem to like that. Anyway I am growing more unashamed now and if it means my family tightens our belts so be it God will provide. That Ecclesiastes 10 bit is hilarious btw got a big charge out of that.

Brother Jase, I've never had an earwig in my ear, but we live in North Central Florida, and I've seen a LOT of earwigs, usually in the evenings. Many years ago, one night I came home from work sick, so I went to bed, and reached for a facial tissue to wipe my nose, and was stung by a scorpion. Fortunately, most of the scorpions in Florida are not poisonous, but that sting was a little painful -- some insect stings cause some serious problems to me, so I ended up at the emergency room for some serious swelling on my upper lip!

Love you guys. I live in central California and earwigs are quite common around here. We call them pincher bugs. I have never actually had one inside my ear but I have killed many good sized ones inside my house.
