@@oliveleaf7376 I mean, Corpse Flower was mostly just kind of bad, sadly. I'd say Mi'da or the candle dragon was better (... Though in the case of the dragon I use the word better very generously) "infinitely respawning minions", though they lack the consistency of something like Frozen Touch. Actually, though, I've seen it theorized that Tobelerone only respawning so many times is actually *supposed* to be to your benefit, because there aren't that many Fire spells in Warrior so you don't want him stuck dormant on your board taking a unit slot forever after you've gone through them. How well that concept correlates to reality is another question.

The current class design for mage as a whole isn't great for arena because they can generate so many additional spells and those spells are usually more impactful than random spells from other classes. I don't know how they fix it unless they just reduce the occurence of discover options from arena drafts, but then mage becomes nearly unplayable.

I guess it’s because haunted painting works by summoning a new copy of a minion (because the minion it’s copying just died). Whereas criminal lineup summons copies of minions as they currently are. same health, buffs, desthrattles, etc so the dormant doesn’t come into play.

for future reference: you can get rid of 2 infectious ghouls without AOE by killing one, then the other, then the one that spawned in before the opponent gets another minion on board. killing a ghoul when it's by itself always lowers the numbers of ghouls you need to deal with by 1.

I hope he realizes that it's the hero power that will only give a totem you don't have. The chisel is just a random totem. If you need a specific totem then it's chisel first, but if you aren't looking for a specific totem then do hero power first to have a potential to double up

Considering that damage, buffs etc carries over when copying a card it makes sense that the copy wouldn't be dormant as it copies the minon in the current state rather than making a completely new one.

On the second last game against the paladin, on turn 6, rather than playing azure drake meeting stone, I feel it was better to instead play only piggy back imp and not even hero power. Although it is slow, it does set up lethal next turn assuming the opponent does not heal. If the opponent clears the board, you will have a 4/1 and 3 2/2s. If the opponent does not clear the board and tries to develop you have lethal. If the opponent plays a taunt minion you have exarch to trade and you get value from it.
