I could be wrong but I think the third person the person that was watching the kids and wife was the girl the guy killed in the alley and dumped body away from there

I think he's referring to when the boy was untying the mother, someone came in & took the boy out that appeared to be male. That was probably someone the woman that he killed brought in to help her; she said she had people working with her that wanted stuff right away. I think we supposed to assume they either got away or the team rounded everyone else in the building up when they came in.

Appearently even though we don't get really get to see this face. There is a name for the third guy on The Criminal Minds Wiki for this episode Dan Otey played by an actor named Monroe Makowsky. I wasn't sure what your verdict would be for police detective. But that is fair to let him go that was my thought process too. He's not responsible for a monster taking his wife and kids to use as leverage to make him his aid to his crimes.

Logan’s face at the beginning was priceless he was so into they just spoiled the episode not knowing it was just the beginning 😂😂 that was my reaction too when I first watched it. I also thought he was an accomplice he was just trying to keep his family alive I can’t believe I forgot this episode. The third person is the women she’s a drug addict the wife was drugged bad enough that’s why she was able to be alone for a minute and the woman could’ve have someone with her but if it was a drug addict too wouldn’t stay for long at least that’s probably what I thought watching it.

lee tergesen(Shrader) will always be Beecher to me. I loved Oz so much and he played that role so well it's easy to see him as this character.

Ahh so "third" person was women he was drug addict and she said to guy before he killed her in alley that people that were helping here wanted stuff now didn't want to wait, I think the killer man promised drugs or money to women and she involved her junky friends to help her look at family so they got money/drugs and that's what we saw - this people she was talking about around familly and they probodly give wife drugs so she would be more mellow...
