I don't think it matters if they actually listen to the evidence, but the chances of having a plant on the Trump side is high. Yes, thats exactly what they would have to do. If he went to a ordinary prison, it would obviously be a single person cell and no contact to any other inmates ever. I am a bit worried "they" will make it so that he gets to spend his time in home confinement, which of course would be more bending over backwards for a career criminal who doesnt deserve an iota of leniency. cases take years to get from investigation phase to presentation to prosecuting authority to preparation and analysis to indictment by a grand jury to filing the case on a docket to settings for the lawyers to negotiate and bring motions to finally, trial. these cases havent taken that long. they were being investigated before trump announced his campaign for 2024: if anything, trump did that to interfere with these cases.
