I worked the doors for 37 years, through the 80's, the rave scene in the 90's and continued into the 2000's. When you work with someone on the doors and they got your back day in day out you have a tremendous bond together. I can see why Mr Theo had that closeness to Lenny McLean. My best friends are the boys i worked with.

Great podcast. Some of them pictures in the beginning were pics I'd seen before i the gym he owned in Widnes. What an experience it was training there for me as a 19 year old. Mike had an American pit bull terrior and it used to sit next to me in the reception. Haha. I dont know what was more scary. The dog, Theo, or Lenny. Wasnt it Loretta lomax he used to go out with back then ?

The truth is starting to come out about Carlton, he has no respect in London or Essex he is a laughing stock can’t fight or has never been a villain he is just a glorified security guard and grassed his mate Phil up that’s why he was banished from Essex. It's just come to mind that when Theo had the place in Widnes, there was a lad who played RL for Wigan who trained in there too. In case Theo is reading this and just in case he remembers the lad in question, he is no longer with us. So RIP Dave. This just shows the type of fellas we're talking about here. Dave had bought a car from just around the corner from the gym. Down the stairs and to the right. The garage itself is no longer there, so I don't mind telling the story. Dave walked into the gym and looked a bit fed up. He was asked by, i think Mick what was wrong. Obviously Dave told him the problem he was having. This was the issue. Dave bought the car. An XR3 or a RS Turbo if memory serves. After having had the car for 10 mins the engine sh!t itself. He had gone back to the guy he bought it from and told him the car was dead and he asked for his money back. The guy laughed in Daves face and told him to F O. UNFORTUNATELY for the garage owner. Dave was Micks mate and Micks mate was down from London on a visit to see Mick. Micks mate one Mr Lenny McLean RIP and Mick allegedly went down the stairs into the office of the guy who refused point blank to reimburse Dave. Im told that Lenny gave the garage owner the hair dryer and with furious anger smashed both hands through the desk he was sat at and left the desk in a pile of twigs and sticks and dust. There was a terrible smell in the office also apparently. Needless to say the good guys walked off with a smile on their faces Dave had his money and a very valuable leason was learned. Don't funk about with Mick & Lennys mates.
