I really couldnt care less about all the Essex Boys Carlton Leach nonsense but the rest of the Pod is literally a history lesson in the more grisly sides of British history. The story about the young girl chilled me to the bone. What a life Bernard has lived 😮 Terry Stone pure class as usual mate.😊👌🏾

Brian Rolfe ? I watched an interview with Brian, when He first came on crimetube. He seems an alright guy and certainly tells a different story and its believable, because Brian dosent deny or shy away from the fact, Craig could be really cruel. Can't remember the details but basically Craig even betrayed Brian, in a bad way. @@patkearney9320

Just a one I've seen most or probably all Bernard's documentaries. The man says one thing then in another program he has a totally different opinion. His opinion is whatever he needs it to be .he first said that he knew who killed the Essex boys and its not the men who are sentenced . Then he's betraying John whoms secretly recording a private drunk conversation which he edited all the bits out with John saying this is what they said happened. Mate he's a scumbag and lies to whatever makes him money that show .

The only pictures you will see of Bernart and any member of the firm is the 2 pictures of Bernart dressed in jeans and a shitty bomber jacket while tucker tate are dressed to the nighs and in the other one he has his bouncer suit on .if he was what he says he was he would have many pictures with not just tucker tate and rolf but all the firms other guys . It's lovely how Bernie is proud of his children being in the police cadets & prison service. Everyone can say they want better for their children, but to have come from Bernie's 'world' & to be as proud as he is when they tread those paths (police & prison service) says a lot about the morals he has instilled in his sons & the growth in him himself.

Since Brian another man who speaks truthfully of himself appeared C.L hasn’t even mentioned him yet Carlton done a podcast on nipper instead of addressing Brian’s questions. The E.B followers are mostly folk who believe anything there favourite wannabe gangsters says. I never made a comment about this fiasco till last year when I read comments that C.L , he does terrible damage to damaged young minds who believe him. Will it ever stop as Bernard said as long as clowns keep making up B.S there’s always a market for it. Anyhow great comment you made people forget the damage them 3 done.☘️

It’s like they never grew up C.L bother’s me because young guys believe his B.S and I fear they will follow his pretend way of life to the cell. I’m 61 now been away from prison and the B.S 30 years I seen so many young men reading the same old B.S books and ending up stabbing some poor sod because they think that’s how it’s done. It’s good to see a man say NO this is the truth, like Brian how many men have u seen o U.T admitting to grassing his brother. The truth helps lies deceive young men and ruin futures truly makes me angry.

Bernard is a gangster groupie. He's always tried to latch onto hard and powerful men, probably because he's insecure himself (and maybe bats for the other side). From what I have heard from my relative he was a complete sycophant to the gangsters he met when he was a doorman. He would get like a giggling bashful schoolgirl around them. He particularly fancied Tony Tucker and would practically kiss his boots and try to impress him. He didn't know the Essex boys on a close friend level, he just knew them casually from working on the doors. They were big egos so tolerated his boot licking and hanging about them like a bad smell in the club, laughing loudly at anything they said and patting them on their backs. He just takes info he's heard from other names he's collected like a groupie does and passes it off as his own direct info to make it look like he's connected. Bernard has very low self-esteem, you can see it in this interview where he's really nervous and has to check his notes to make sure his lies don't get tangled up. I mean if you are telling the truth you don't need notes to remember what happened. Anyway Because of Bernard's insecurities he's easily led and manipulated. He got manipulated into campaigning to get convicted murderer Michelle Taylor released from prison. Once released he had an affair with her then she left him and he admitted that she was guilty, and tried to get her back in prison. This just shows his lack of integrity and dishonesty. When Bernard was making his groupie gangster documentary where he went around the country boot licking hard men has-beens he eventually met Paddy Conroy. Bernard fell in love with Paddy and moved his entire life to Newcastle to be near him. Paddy got his cousin to marry Bernard to keep their weird relationship secret. Bernard even opened up a café dedicated to all the hard men he was a groupie for, but this quickly failed like all his projects. Paddy it should be noted is a complete liar, second only to Brian cockerill for lies, so no wonder Bernard fell in love with him. Finally, Bernard campaigned for years saying the convicted killers of the Essex boys were wrongfully imprisoned. Then suddenly one day he shut his website down and declared them guilty... Just more evidence of how unreliable and dishonest this fella is. I can't believe people even listen to and believe him. He's a complete fantasist. He's a grown man who goes around the country trying to make friends with hard men and gangsters, something a teenage girl does when trying to be a groupie for a band. Also note how he always insists on declaring he's of Irish descent at all opportunities? This is what insecure people do, they are desperate to be something else. He probably thinks it makes him more interesting and cool to be part Irish, he has the mind of a teenage boy trying to impress people at school.

Well done on the podcast Terry, you’re literally a natural interviewer pal, hilarious wit too 😂. Too many other hosts end up talking more than the guests, cutting them off mid story constantly! They don’t even edit the half stories out, as then it would just leave the host chatting to himself. You and the team have such a great range of guests, I look forward to seeing who the next one is every time! I must have missed this one at the time. Respect to Bernard too, considering all the accusations and abuse that he has had to deal with for years. It’s a testament to his character that he continues to just tell it how it was for him. He’s probably the only one that backs up what he says with proof too. I hope he enjoys his retirement, but I won’t have any complaints if he does a u turn! Lot of people on here saying "why all the hate for Bernie", Tone. Truth is you've all spent years promoting and making a movie hero out of Leach. Naturally a lot of Internet nuggets want to believe it's true. So when Bernard has a fall out with Leach he incurs the wrath of the nuggets. Despite who you chose to believe or who tells the most exciting story Bernard does tend to present his version in a far more believable account with a level of research involved. Leach claims to have shagged every barmaid he ever met and let the Turkish mafia off with a warning coz his mate Tucker told him it's not worth the agg. I've met Leach at VIP areas of Boxing events, I've also met that Dave Courtney character too at unlicensed events. There are genuinely a lot of low intelligence people out there who look up to such characters. And want to have their photos took with them and want to believe their stories are true. Neither Leach or Courtney are the sort of guys to not let the truth gey in the way of a good story. When Bernard pops up with dates, newspaper articles and facts it tends to piss on Leach's parade, so no wonder he gets upset. Courtney's cronies now claim that he made you a success Tone by giving you a leg up and then you turned your back on him. Truth is you don't get successful from a leg up, it takes years of consistent hard work with a good dose of acumen. If turning your back means getting bored of hearing the same 12 fake gangster stories and cracking on with your life then you are probably guilty as charged Tone.

I'm related through marriage to the family of the young boy murdered by Richard Blenkey. The character he invented and blamed it on was called "Mr Punk" I believe. In Bernard's book, Flowers in Gods Garden, he mentions Blenkey sending him a fake "confession" letter from this Mr Punk character who said he'd set Blenkey up. He tried to get released into an open prison a few years ago but thankfully that didn't happen. Cheers to Bernard for his work in bringing the evil bastard down. Good interview too. This isn't the sort of thing I normally listen to but I enjoyed this, both of you have a good sense of humour and work well together.

I've seen and heard a lot about Charlton leach over the years since rise of the foot soldier was released. I think he knew tony tucker, was jealous of the friendship between craid rolf and tucker. He was on the outskirts of the Essex boys 3 but seemed to want to inject himself to the inner circle. Even the film shows that when Pat tate is released, it becomes less of carlton leaches story and more about the Romford murders. It's his 5 minutes of fame with a small connection with a major crime.

Carlton wasn’t an outsider you have solid evidence to suggest he was close with Tucker towards the end of Tuckers life most probably not as they probably fall out but this man Bernard is definitely an outsider just a bouncer that worked in Tuckers club groupie type as everyone slags him off

It's the same with how Craig is portrayed in his film, Craig was massive, he was on as many roids as he could get, yet Charlton portrayed him as a skinny lad in the films

It took 3 E.B to get 60.000 together for a puff deal small numbers even in early 90s, we was 5 teenagers or early 20s and we had that money didn’t have to borrow off anyone are thing was tobacco and puff. The Media made them they was famous for selling ripped of Es or they’d have doormen in different clubs watch a guy selling all night for a few nights ring different doormen and terrorise them into handing over there stash money and cars. Yes it’s second hand intel but true. They just robbed the brother of the wrong man twice and had to repay. I always believed that story that’s the kind of people they where. This is not what got them killed I heard nothing of that but it’s bound to happen if you behave with people like that, and Pat robbing a pizza shop yea big time alright.

Nobody would do that in heavy traffic snowing at 7pm, so that 100 cars would hear a fuselage of shots. Was defo done how Jasper says and by who he says (a trained soldier). U think Steele would use a broken down VW and Darren to carry that out. Never in a million years.
