Another game that *could* be considered as overlooked is "Kick Master" for the NES. It's one of my favorite ones (it was actually one of the first videogames I played in my life, 32 years ago. Maybe that was why I loved "Guacamelee!" two decades later); Joe talked about it back in early 2020. I rarely find other old school players who know it, which is a shame.

A few recommendations of criminally underrated Looney Tunes titles... -Looney Tunes Sheep Raider (PS1) -Bugs Bunny Lost in Time (PS1) -Bugs Bunny and Taz: Time Busters (PS1) -Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a Half Century (N64) -Taz Express (N64) -Speedy Gonzales (GB) -Bugs Bunny & Lola: Operation Carrot (GBC) -Looney Tunes (GB & GBC) You can tell I been playing a lot of Looney Tunes games and while many range from mediocre to decent enough, those were the ones that stood out for me as incredibly good.

Great look at lesser known titles for sure. Guardian's Crusade is a game I picked up almost 15 years ago for dirt cheap and had a great time with it, nice little breezy casual RPG for whenever you don't want something overly demanding but still engaging. Recall having an issue of Tips and Tricks which had a full walkthrough and honestly was surprised at how much content the game has.

Rambo 3 is one of those games that had a good Taiwanese port on Famiclones so many people played it even without Mega Drive, the SEGA version was also featured in Four Rooms, where a barely conscious Maris Tomei is trying to hit that helicopter as Ted retells her the story so far. That movie is also severely underrated the scenes with Jennifer Beals still get quoted in my family)

Bit of an interesting tidbit about gotcha force. It actually runs on the same battle system as the gundam vs games, as capcom developed those at the time. I haven’t played too much of gotcha force, but it was pretty fun of what I did play.

About Gotcha Force, that game uses Gundam Federation vs Zeon mechanics, since Capcom developed it and would use it's mechanics for an original title as part of the supposed Capcom Five for the GameCube (since Dead Phoenix was cancelled and Gotcha Force could have been in its place.)
