I remember the ninja ban in the UK. Very weird and only seemed to apply to certain things. Doesn't apply anymore and everyone at school still called them Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles. Contrary to government fears at the time, the lifting of the ban did not result in us becoming a nation of people that'd settle conflicts with shuriken.

Trivia (that no doubt most here will know already): Road Avenger was directed by Yoshihisa Kishimoto, who also did FMV game Cobra Command and went on to design Double Dragon for Technos later. The red car in Jimmy and Bimmy's garage is the one from Road Avenger, and the helicopter from Double Dragon II references the one from Cobra Command.

In the Nes Jackal, the cut scenes change depending on how well you did in the level. If I recall correctly, you get the scene where they say, "Yeah!!!" If you don't die at all, you get "We made It!" If you die once, and "Here?" If you die more than once. Jackal, along with Contra and Super C are the few Nes games I can complete without dying.
