I know a Russian wouldn't understand want national constitutions are used for, but in real countries with laws and rules, when a constitution mandates rules on elections and term limits, we have to abide by them. The Ukrainian constitution says that elections will be suspended during times of war and martial law (for obvious reasons). Their drunken, belligerent neighbor stumbling across the border like a 13th century Mongolian Horde is no exception to this rule. In Moscovy, the constitution laid out term limits for the office of president. How many terms was that again? What term number is Putin on now? Jeez, it's hard to remember the minutia of the political corruption of a backwards, undead empire like Russia.
