Defeating Megumin in a "traditional" wizard duel doesn't seem too difficult. Goad her into using her explosion spell, run like hell, dig a fox hole, cast a protective barrier spell, and then pray to your maker. If you survive, just walk up to her and whittle her health down with whatever means you prefer at your leisure.
