For those wondering why there is no DESERT in it... The game is setup in the universe of Black Desert Online; You start mainly in a medieval fantasy European-like setting, and travel always further east to a more turkish, then middle-eastern, then straight up desert with oasis environment. BLACK desert references a powerful substance called "blackstone" (think "oil" in an heroic fantasy sauce) that was just discovered and everybody rushes to get it; Here it's a prologue so CRIMSON probably references some plot aspect still unknown today

Dont get ur hopes up lemme bring u back down to earth . This is pearl abyss. This is an eastern asian mmo. MTX 'microtransactions" are the core of all Eastern mmos sadly and ive played alot of them . They pull u in with the beautiful trailer not showing u the UI till u finally see it and theres a giant store icon on the top right like Throne an liberty , black desert , blue protocol, tera, perfect world , lost ark etc . Eastern mmos in general are heavily monetized and targeted at whales . 2 years wasted sorry to tell yah . Unless you like spending .
