Crimson: She Leads Kenya Program documentary - Polycom Girls

She Leads is a joint initiative of Plan International Netherlands, Terre des Hommes Netherlands, Defence for Children - ECPAT Netherlands, and The African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET), and in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under the Power of Voices Framework for the period 2021-2025, and Equal Measures 2030 as a technical partner. The She Leads alliance organisations in Kenya {Plan International Kenya, Terre des Hommes Netherlands, Defence for Children -ECPAT Netherlands, and The African Women’s Development and Communication Network}; together with their implementing partners {African Gender and Media Initiative (GEM), the Network for Adolescent and Youth of Africa (NAYA), the Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children (KAACR), Pamoja CBO and Polycom Development Project} will implement the program in Kajiado, Nairobi, Mombasa, Kwale, Homabay and Kisumu Counties, with a national focus.
The strategic objective of the program is to increase sustained influence of girls and young women on decision-making and the transformation of gender norms in formal and informal institutions.
