My second time coming to biome 2, after a good grind and a good build, had healing kits, an astronaut figurine to respawn after death and had used the reconstructor, got to biome 2 and was taken out by a sandstorm bug that could even work in rooms🤷 only place on the map was a room with lasers and a lava floor that I could retreat to, or so I thought. No refuge there. The storm that was killing me chased me into an area I could not live. Beyond the lava was a teleporter. Been playing the game so hard I’m even writing like how Selene speaks😂 The whole time I’m thinking how masochistic were the creators of this game. I could imagine Snow from hunger games smiling watching the developers creating this game, along with Freddy Krueger, Jigsaw from the saw movies and the reaper from the final destination movies giving standing ovation and nodding whilst clapping to show their approval.

I’m having so much trouble with Ixion!! I’ve had really good runs where I go in with 2 full bars, 1 large health refill, and still due in phase 3. I’ve tried a few different weapons on him too, so frustrating when you think you’ll finally have him & you end up dying and have to re-start - especially after grinding so much in b1 to get buffed!

I am both amazed at how good you are that game basically going through every biome without dying, and at the same time some absurd stuff you do. Like leaving every apex sphere you find. It brings you instantly to level 5. Just take it, use it right away and take you item back. It’s all benefit, no cost and yet every time!!! I think I pissed me off to see you do something so absurd all while still being 10 times better than me at that game 😂

At the bonus room you could have first get back and use the large health then return to the room and collect the other life fragments to increase your max health.

Great walkthrough, but II do suggest just using those adrenaline pickups right where you find them and pick your other item back up. Everytime you found one, you were at or below 1 adrenaline.

Even after beating the boss in biome 1, do you still recommend redoing the entire biome before entering biome 2? I died on the run I beat the boss, and have been really battling with biome 2 since.

In general, yes, I always recommend going through the entire track of biomes. You get important upgrades, learn new weapon abilities, and just get more and more used to the combat and enemies.

I got really lucky so when I first went to biome 2 I had weapon proficiency 9 and almost double my original health with a super good gun. I still had trouble with this biome.

Bruuuuh, just take the adrinaline thing activate it and get ur stuff back It give max adrinaline a shield (free hit ) Just finished the game first time Last biome i was happy to see that adrinaline thing I had artifact that reduce alt fire reload by 1 sec for each adrinaline level +parasite that lower alt fire reload also by 3 sec And another artifact by 2 sec The laser alt fire was almost instantly back that build was just cheat code + Without i forget artifact that give u chance to return consumables by 20%+ parasite return consumables by 25% The adrinaline consumables didnt end at all vs last boss I used like 7 or 8

Great question. There is a cube machine in every level. The one in biome 2 is the easiest to reach, as you don't need to fight the boss to get to it, and you can warp directly to the end of the level, near the machine, using the teleporter at the base of the mountain.

That's correct. The only things that carry over are equipment, like the sword and other stuff that you unlock later on.

@@Popetopia Haha I respond to most comments, especially when folks have questions. But these ones I can't avoid hahah. When I did my GOTY playthrough later that year, I made it a point to take in everyone's advice and used different weapons and actually use the items as they drop.

How are you not getting infected while picking up spoiled resin and opening malignant chests?? I am halfway through your walkthrough and each every when one you've picked or opened hasn't had a negative impact on your health nor any malfunctions

It's just luck. My runs tended to have good luck early and then I'd get hit with several malfunctions in a row in the final level. I'd have no map, enemies would explode on death, leave puddles behind, the works.

Why not just switch your consumables, use them and then just pick them up again. For instance, you decided to leave behind a instant Max adrenaline consumable and you were only at level 1?

It requires the final ability you unlock in the final level of the game. It's not reachable until you get that.

Im trying to like this game but it's hard. Gameplay wise it's fun but having your progress constantly reset on death the malignant items the randomness of everything smh. I really wish I understood what exactly roguelite was before I bought this. Your strategies helped me with the souls in hoping it works with this as well

After playing the first level, I can honestly say that some of the regular rooms was WAY harder then the boss and I guess it will be the same here. Wish me luck.

I got an item in the second biome that allowed me to exchange a key to increase max integrity. Does anyone remember the name of it?

Hmmmm. I definitely remember getting that in the final biome one time. I can't actually find it in any lists!!

@@SweetJohnnyCage I found it in a small article it’s called Key Liquifier. It’s not mentioned in any lists!!! The more keys you have, the more max integrity you increase. This item is probably the best at increasing it but I guess it’s quite rare

@@HorizonMatter It's really good. I've gotten it a couple times. One thing to keep in mind is that it will increase your max integrity a ton (if you have 3-4 keys), but it won't completely fill your health bar. So don't wait to use it until you've gotten all the health items from a stage.

That's a fair question. I just always get hit so I find the adrenaline consumables a waste for me. But you're right, I could do that.
