It is a very lovely tour. Very different from what we are used to when we click on a Crimson Guitars video. Every time I see that Cremona guitar I can't help but think about how wonderful of a shape it is. If you're ever again trying to come up with a new production guitar shape, something based on that one would be awesome. Parana Pine was traditionally used for quality staircases and fine furniture. It does look like pine a little but has a lot more red in it and is much denser-haven't seen any for 30 years. Just read that it is not actually from the Pine family but from the same family as the Monkey Puzzle tree and is critically endangered.

@@CrimsonCustomGuitars You said in the video you Anglo'd yourself, sounds like you did about as good a job on that as you did in building guitars! As a machinist, some of the fits that I have seen on your channel - like the student who did the wood on wood inlays on the neck - I wouldn't have thought possible using wood. I always sort of poo poo wood for being easier to work with, not needing to meet the same tolerances, not worrying about temperature or hardness etc. But, I see that shop work is shop work, and all the same principles apply, plus a whole lot of creativity (which is something I don't get in my world of technical drawings and +/-.0004 tolerances). Oh, and the struggle of losing your tools. Hopefully I can find some space to try out some woodworking. Been wanting to make knives, guitars, and a new desk for ages now.
