What about French speakers? If someone can speak, write and have a good listening, can they apply without the IELTS CERTIFICATE?

I'd like to do my PhD in Japan. In inorganic chemistry. Would Hokkaido university be recommended?

What is the topic you want to learn more in inorganic chemistry? If you want to learn and do research about catalyst, I recommend you to join their graduate school of enviromental earth science.

@@AppIeTime Now that you have told me I do notice it as well. But it's very suttle subtle. He is incredibly fluent and almost without any accent which is very impressive. Especially when it comes to French people speaking English I'm used to a very prominent accent.

@@developandplay I agree. It's almost like he might have studied abroad (in an English speaking country) for a while to achieve that degree of accuracy in pronunciation.

I am claustrophobic so I like places with less people and more nature. I'll consider this
@hiwhale
@hiwhale 4 жыл бұрын
The university itself is spacious and full of nature, but it is located in Sapporo, which is the capitol of Hokkaido, and the surrounding area is quite busy and has lots of tall buildings. So you may want to consider that as well
