Adults complain about children not having spaces to go and be kids anymore but what they don't realize is that they were the common denominator for children growing up so fast because they literally made fun of them for being "cringe" when in reality they were just children having fun and it's even more ironic when you bring into account the new age trend of millennials making nostalgia content about their awkward and embarrassing years as adolescents and teenagers. People complain about the lack of spaces for kids and tweens now when adults were the ones bullying children for expressing themselves.

cringe compilations have caused irreversible damage to my concept of having fun i ate those up when i was younger during their prime and i always feared i would be on one if i ever dared to be myself, so i stuffed all of my 'cringey' stuff (most of my ocs and my sona, who was a sans fangirl oc) and became a part of the cringe community. now that im older (im a teen) ive been expressing myself more. I still have interalized cringe but ive been improving and being more open-minded be yourself and dont let a person, grown or not, tell you to stop enjoying yourself (as long as what youre doing isnt harmful to yourself or others)

I used to be a gachatuber, but I gave up after being attacked by the community, and now I play games. I realized how toxic these types of communities are. If I had a child, I'd never let him get close to Gacha.

@@prb21 Im sorry for what you been through. I can’t imagine how hard and hopeless you felt about the fact you got harassed by people in the gacha community and I completely understand what you’re feeling about it now. In fact, I used to be a gachatuber too! However, if I can tell you something, not every community is totally bad, nor totally good. Everything, including online communities, has their own good and bad aspects; harassment is a general problem in social media and it seems like nobody is paying the necessary attention to this problem. Again sorry for your bad experience inside the gacha community.

As an autistic teenager this is so true Worse of all since I live in a really conservative area where everything is fucking cringe even if they draw in a slightly cartoony style. (I am born in Colombia but moved to Deep South in the USA) and sadly I am a people pleaser so I keep the stuff I like really hidden and it sucks!

This video hits too close to home. I used to watch cringe compilations (and read comments there, that's important) a lot as a kid and they absolutely ruined my perception of my own art. To this day I hate myself whenever I draw something that doesn't match the unrealistic standard that those have created in my mind. And I'm an adult now for hells sake. Sorry if this comment is poorly constructed, I don't know how to write properly.

Please- my ex used to watch tiktok cringe compilations all the time. I was so done with this, most of the content is harmlesss and there is no point on making fun of others Just let people enjoy things and mind your own buisness.
