TBH the question was a bit complex and too broad IMO. I think the question is essentially “how do you manage being female in a male dominated environment” (e.g assertiveness that isn’t misinterpreted as aggression.) Her perceived self-importance is only dictated by the caliber of people who she infiltrates: wealthy and powerful. I predict she leaves Harry in 2023. I would word that as Harry leaving her (he has to be seeing through her by now). But, that will be behind the scenes. She'll leave him for not fully backing her. I've got a feeling the coronation will do it. Insiders are saying she's overwhelmed that Harry's family wants him to attend, but not her (that they're trying to accommodate him, but not her; that she faces global humiliation). This could be the wedge that finally makes it apparent to Harry how he's been played. Meg(alomaniac)'s only problem has been that she married #2, can never have #1, will have to curtsy to #1 and his wife. It was all idyllic until reality set in that she was just a prop on a stage built for #1. There is no casting for the next movie where she could get the starring role. As a narcissist, being "trapped" as #2 (no matter how elegant and elevated the position) would be intolerable. Harry has to see it by now.

No I dont think he does see through her. He will be aware he is "sufferring" under his wifes tempers and blaming, but wont trace the source. I imagine it will still be everyone elses fault. His buried resentments and spite have been allowed to gush out under her encouragement, hes psychologically gaining from this, not in a healthy way obviously. She feeds his demons rather then help him heal and grow. Theres that whole Diana/Meghan mother sickness he has going on too, that M has played into to hook him. Besides the fact hes not very bright, I dont think he can LET himself see the truth. I agree shes casting around for her next mark.

Every time I see him wearing medals I feel embarrassed for him. He had an entire battalion protecting him. His medals are like the CEO's son who starts in the mailroom, and is promoted to director of global sales the following month. He sees the world through eyes/experiences most people don't. He's like Mr. Magoo walking around explaining everything through his expectations of how they should be (not how they are). I always think of that when I see him wearing silly medals like they mean something. It's cringeworthy. He's like a 5yo in an adult's body. I think you're right that he may never see it (at least until she leaves him, not him leaving her). I think the whole "marry into royalty" appealed to her narcissism. The problem with narcissism is that nothing's ever good enough. You could have what only 1% has, and you'd still be consumed by someone else having something you don't. I think it turned into that kind of nightmare for her when she realized Harry would always be in the background to Will (and she'd have to curtsy to Kate). Meg's very fixated on humiliation. She probably woke up at night in a terror about what she'd gotten herself into. (Then she started playing the 5yo: "Look what they've done to me through you... you could never see it if it weren't for me." Starts triangulating & training a flying monkey, as it's called in narcissism.).. You could be right that he'll never see it (just Mr. Magoo narrating to himself). In that case, she'll become bored. There's a point where causing trouble only reinforces your #2'ness (your irrelevancy; vulgarity). It starts out as "I'm in control!" But, eventually "I'm married to a man-child, now-publically humiliated, a public who's not listening anymore, Andrew the Abomination living in the guest house, penning his own tell-all. It's getting worse, not better. I'm back in the trailer park." At some point, she'll realize she can recharge her brand without him, write her own tell-all betrayal against him. Ns do this as a pattern. They run out of steam, collapse, then "reconstitute" themselves.
