I also made my first ever hardcore world on the first day of the new year, it is a mew themed SMP (the Pokémon mew) and it’s going REALLY well so far, i have not only a skeleton spawner underneath the spawn point but also the end portal 1000 blocks away :)

I found a super basic raisin farm So i made a 3 deep 2x2 hole tpwith a room around it so i get the creeking to spawn and lure it the hole it should fall because there are trap doors i think i forgot fo mention that i hit the creeking and my dog goes to attack it while i collect the raisins the creeking heart is surrounded with a ring if 8 logs there is probably a more efficent log placement dont forget the top and bottom of the logs :) this probably wont be much use to you tho but maybe to other people Edit: i forgot about the efficiency i get about 2-3 stacks of raisins sometimes 4 im im lucky
