Slugg was trippin' but I get depressed around the holidays too. I used to have a bunch of grandparents, great aunties, cousins, all that, but they all gone now, except my child, my husband, my sister and her two kids, and a few cousins scattered around in other states. This Christmas and Thanksgiving gonna be awful because we just lost my Mom in Jan. I pray for everyone that is sad around the holidays cause you aren't alone, there's a lot of us out here. My homeboy caught a body in the county whenever they sent him from up the road to get sentenced for his new charge they had the inmate on stateside whenever he was supposed to be on county side he was my homeboy celly he disrespected my homeboy and my homeboy ended up beating him to death with his bare hands they offered him 25 he pleaded out to a 12 year sentence. Mind you my homeboy was locked up whenever we turned 19 he got out whenever he was 25 or 26 the first time he went to prison was for a shooting that had happened where he had hit somebody now it looks like he might not be coming out of prison until he's in his 50s if he's lucky enough to not catch any more charges while he's up in there. I'll be 30 in April it's weird as hell to see people that you went to school with or grew up with that wasn't really about that life and go to prison come out and look totally different that wasn't the case with my homeboy because we was really out there in the streets when we was kids but I'm just saying in general prison will change you

In Texas they make the meals during the holidays, depending on which unit( prison) you're in ,they can be very good, At Christmas you got a 'CARE' package made by local churches, that included hygiene, snack, socks etc along with the meal.
