Nope. What's odd to me in the Packers situation is that I've been asked to believe Rodgers had to change the plays at the line possibly as much as 50% of the time this year because the plays called were too awful/obvious. Well if he changed the plays 50% of the time and they still seemed predictable and they still didn't work (4-7-1), um...

It's called having a down year people. Quit acting like Rodgers built a career out of stat padding. He didn't. Outside of the Patriots, no team made the playoffs more consistently over the past decade other then the Packers. Rodgers has 3 nfc championship appearances, a Super Bowl ring, 2 mvps, the best td to int ratio of all time, best qb rating of all time, and 8 straight playoff appearances, second only to the Brady led Patriots. He is not playing up to his normal God level expectations, but that doesn't mean he is overrated, or that his time is up. The injuries to his collarbone, knee, coupled with 2 rookie 5th and 6th round receivers, an outdated playbook, and bad offensive line, have all combined to create the results we are seeing. Next year the scheme will be infinitely more creative, the roster rebuilt with 2 1st round picks, and over 45 million in cap space to play with in free agency,(even with Rodgers contract), old/overrated and overpaid players like Clay Matthews, and Cobb will be gone, plus an extra off-season for Rodgers to work with the young playmakers, and get his body right. The pack will be back, and Rodgers will show you all again why he is one of the undisputed greatest to ever play this game.

CC needs to get off this soap box of it being Aaron's fault for taking the money that the market dictates he is worth. Management and McCarthy have been too stubborn to adapt to today's game, McCarthy with his coaching and play calling and the organization not being the least bit aggressive in free agency as Canty mentioned. What good is cap room if your team does nothing with it every year? Not Rodger's fault they can't build a team properly. Many of the previous draft picks have been busts, and they let go some of their most talented players (including pro-bowlers Micah Hyde and Casey Hayward). So why should he leave money on the table for a team that has proven time and time again to be inept at putting together a roster? Hey Cris, our show is struggling, but if you take less money we can bring on another personality to boost ratings. Cool with you? I didn't think so.

Boy, these clowns really didn't do their homework. The first guy says that this is the first season that Aaron Rodger started the majority of the games and the Packers didn't make the playoffs. Not true! Rodgers started all of 2008 and the Packers were 6-10 and didn't make the playoffs. The second guy says this is the first time since Rodgers' rookie season that he was healthy and the Packers didn't make the playoffs. Not true! The 2008 season was Rodgers' fourth year in the league and as stated above the Packers were 6-10 and didn't make the playoffs.

He may have all the physical gifts to be the best ever but he doesn't have the intangibles it takes. Brady doesn't have all the physical abilities but he has the intangibles to the max. Results: .......

How many more people will Rodgers get fired? Green Bay brought this on with his absurd contract

I have YET to see a reason to state that Rodgers is the best qb we’ve ever seen. He has great arm talent. Who cares. He doesn’t even come close to Breese who is not even close to Brady. I’m so over this debate of crowning Rodgers as the best. We are so quick to dismiss brady every chance we get but try to find any reason to make Rodgers the goat. QB play is cerebral. That’s why manning and Brady will always be better then Rodgers.

Aaron Rogers is over rated and Mike McCarthy is an unimaginative play caller that should have been fired years ago.

The GB Packers should have waited until the end of season. If Marvin Lewis and Jason Garret can keep their jobs, so should Mike McCarthy! He deserved that much at least.

With Tom Brady's football IQ the can use every nuance of the playbook.. He knows it chapter and verse... And with him they can take advantage of any weakness the defense has

i can see bill belichick coming over if they give him GM calls, maybe they can get levon bell as well they have cap space and those draft picks, bill could fix the packers up on offense and defense asap and win 5 rings in the next 5 seasons. plus i doubt he wants to stay in new england after that jimmy g incident. he also benched malcolm butler for no reason other then to handicap the patriots in the superbowl. bill holds a grudge maybe he rather be in the same division and go back to the jets or even the bills? the packers under belichick are legit contenders

Aaron Rodgers is arguably the greatest talent of all time, but he is certainly not the best player of all time. He has no leadership skills, and no matter what people say he dropped in the draft for a reason. And that still plagues him now. The packers havent done enough to build around him as well though

Predictable play calling, poor drafts no activity in free agency and a losing record! it’s not rocket science you fire the coach!! it got stagnant.
