We Stan Ally in this household. As a snake discovery regular it is confusing how anyone wouldn't be simply over the moon petting this terrific tegu, but I guess if I didn't watch all their videos I'd be hesitant too. They are part of the reason I got into reptiles.

TJ made the best choice. I would love to be able to hold Ally. TJ was also very brave to let Fluffy walk on her. I would let the snake (sorry can't spell her name) be on me, but only with Ed close by.

Ed and Emily are great!!! I don't know how you could be afraid of Allie she is such a sweetheart. They should have brought a baby bull snake to hiss at them, or at least a hognose and then tell them, "Oh btw you are holding a venomous snake".

I wish I could try holding Ally or Onyxia! I felt one of their snakes, Free, when I got to visit their zoo for our family birthday trip and they are so smooth!!! You would normally imagine a snake to be kinda rough and dry because of the scales! Not at all!!! It's almost.... I wanna say rubbery like? Like a stiffer long rubber balloon that's damp. I think that's the closest I can compare them to that's a more common feeling.

That was great. I LMAO. I'm terrified of tarantulas although I love them. I'Ve had about 5 in my life. And the last one I had, I practiced holding one leg on my palm, adding another leg every 3 or 4 days up to 4 legs. Then I had to let it go.. where I found it.. when we moved. I often collected critters from my deserty surroundings, kept, studied, fed then released them back where I found them. So, I give congrads to the DJs for their .... bravery!!!!

Quite jealous you getting some Ally loves, she is the sweetest creature ever! Top tip when they're next on, snake between shirt and skin on your back, most relaxing thing ever, they are so gentle it really gives a super-nice tingling sensation! As for the tarantulas, that is just any day ending with 'y' here, guarantee at least one of mine will happily come up and out to see me (they should have brought an adult Brazilian Black, they truly are like Labradors, as in big, sweet softies!)
