For anyone who cares about the lore of Decidueye. Decidueye is the Grass starter from Alola, a region based on Hawaii. It is based on the extinct Stilt-Owl native to Hawaii, that‘s where it gets the Ghost type. Another inspiration is Robin Hood for obvious reasons.

I’m a decidueye main. My average games are 100k+. This build is the right build to use to get the highest physical attack damage needed for them spirit shackles. With a good tank and healer decidueye is a terrible nuisance to deal with at range.

I've said since day 1, Shadow Sneak should have a movement speed buff. It's meant to be your scouting and escqping move but you can't escape if you're moving in slow motion and everything has dash moves.

@@IFeelWeak I mean, I play in soloq most of the time so I mean as a solo carry it's frustrating when Shadow Sneak goes into a bush and I start to back up and aim only to have an Urshifu hop out and lunge at me. Tbh, maybe the issue is the range of Shadow Sneak. It would be broken with too much movement speed, that is true but it has like an 11 second timer and you can only use it to scout or retreat so once its on cooldown you're still a target. Especially since "Kill the owl." is a meme in the Unite community.

@@themarimo3324 I never said to be a speedster, that's a *SERIOUS* exaggeration. I said a movement speed buff when it uses Shadow Sneak, meaning that every 11 seconds it gets to move slightly faster. I don't mean Greedent, Dodrio or Play Rough Azumarill speed.

Deci is crazy good, but I wouldn’t say broken. It’s pretty team reliant since it’s mobility isn’t that good and it’s squishy. Deci with frontline covering him is very amazing. I use deci for solo but most of the time I get targeted because they see me pop off early game which without me, my team dies. But spirit shackle is a crazy good secure, I’ve secured ray so many times with it!

Thoughts on running muscle scope razer claw instead of going for stacks? Especially for games you're losing, since if you get to stack at all you're probably already winning.

scope increases crit which is better when running razor leaf build. you don't really have to fully stack decideueye because their dmg is still insane even if you only have 2 stacks. if you want to keep the muscle band, go for razor claw and float stone because float stone gives you some mobility and higher atk stat

Im a lane decidueye main. Its difficult to get stacks as the jungler and its too much weight to carry the whole team. I prefer playing this mon as a support carry for the jungler. Decidueye is criminally underrated. It literally out kites the whole cast. Zacian, urshifu, glaceon, espeon no problem. Of course if they get near im dead, but that's true for all the mages as well. At least decidueye can move with shadow sneak, x speed, float stone. All pokemons have weaknesses anyway.

There's too many "when's" when playing Decidueye. It works great, when the enemy doesn't have a good diver, when you have a good defender, when you hit your arrows, etc etc I hit most of my arrows and play carefully, but what do I do when my team pushes the enemy side during Ray (for no reason) and the 2 divers jump you? 💀 pain

The power of spirit shackle is exactly why I'm glad the devs have ignored the community wanting Decidueye to get some type of movement speed buff. A character that can kill you off screen does not need to be able to move fast too. Do you really want to play against a mon that can kill you before you get to them and simply run away if you do?
