Crisis of Faith? Atheist? Ex-religious? How to feel the divine and stir your soul

As an atheist myself, I do not think any god that has been defined and presented to me is even possible, most if not all of the definitions that I have been presented with are internally inconsistent, full of nonsense or are mostly improbable, thus I am justified in rejecting them all until such a time as where good evidence is provided. This video did not change that.

Hi John, I am so grateful for your response, because it is probably one of the most worthwhile subjects that needs to be answered from the spiritual sector. It's a very thoughtful question that deserves a thorough reply, and I am planning out a future video to begin addressing this for you. In the meantime, just off the top of my head the closest research I can think of would be work done by CERN regarding the "God" particle. Other fields of study would be quantum physics, Near Death Experience case studies, the wild world of metaphysics, and then testimonials from doctors/scientists who profess to once be athiest and then later find face, etc. This does not even begin to answer your question, and I think you vitally need more direct, tangible evidence. You've given me some very important homework, and believe me, my head is starting to explode with the gravity of the task. I may not be smart enough to adequately help you but will certainly do my best to guide you in the direction where you CAN find those answers. The one thing about the scientific community that bothers me is its disregard for the unknown, unexplainable variables, because that is the realm of spirit. It is not easy to factor into a physically manifested equation if one refuses to even consider the energy of the unseen forces that play a hand in our reality. Anyway, I am not explaining that very well, but scientific minds think very differently from spiritual thinkers sometimes, so it takes a bit of adjustment of mindsets for the two to be able to work togerther and understand on another. For the moment, let me close by saying there is absolutely nothing with being atheist. There is nothing that needs to be fixed or converted. You can be perfectly at peace and joyful just the way you are. My video speaks to anyone desiring a personal experience with the divine. To tap into those yearnings within the soul. It helps to be open-hearted and curious and willing to receive information in unusual or unexplainable ways that don't make sense to our human senses. That is not an easy task to translate in a structured formula, but I will try. It may be a collossal failure but we'll see. Until then, my wish for you is to find whatever you need at exactly the right time, in a way that truly touches your heart.

But this naming has nothing to do with any real God! [you need to do your resurch on things like this before just making wrong assumptions] Science has no interest in anything supernatural or pseudoscience. Science only deals with the study of the natural world. _'Near Death Experiences'_ The internet is full of unsubstantiated anecdotal stories by highly religious individuals claiming all sorts of fantastic stories about NDEs. In brain function local brain regions go offline one after another during brain trauma and shut down. The brain, whose substrate is whichever neurons remain intact, then does what we know the brain always does, it tells a story shaped by a person’s experience, memory and cultural expectations. If any evidence for any God was detected by the scientific method then it would then be a part of science. However there is no testible verifiable evidence for any God or anything supernatural. Science is as interested in the supernatural as its interested in fairies, unicorns or little green men from Mars. _'scientific minds think very differently from spiritual thinkers sometimes'_ When it comes to proving things and discovering verified evidence science works, faith does not. To put it another way, you use faith when you don't have evidence. Science and faith do not work together, they are apposed to one another. One uses evidence, the other just blindly believes. _'in a way that truly touches your heart'_ The subject of whether a God exists or not has nothing to do with the heart [our emotions which can easily fool us] and everything to do with evidence [or the lack of evidence in the case of God] I have lived a long life and have debated atheism/theism for many years and like all atheists have never found any convincing evidence for any God.
