I was there 25 years ago with these 2 MWS and Amy when we all was younger I was a bus driver on their tour, I mostly drove Rock and Roll so it was refreshing to do this tour and I had a great time being on it.

I was once a child, a teenager… a young man. I loved Amy Grant. I would put on her “song cassettes”; with his songs, and time would stop as the tapes wore out. It just so happened that those who liked Amy Grant’s music also liked Michael W Smith’s. We couldn’t understand why so much chemistry and obvious mutual admiration didn’t turn into a boyfriend or a girlfriend. MWS was more complete, but when they sang a duet WOW! Amy's freshness and her incomparable voice, our hearts exploded. Amy, the years have passed and I'm still in love. Thank you Amy, you marked our hearts forever.

Their music sustained me through my teenage years and 20s. I told MWS that one night when I ‘accidentally’ met him in Atlanta. He just pulled me into him and held me. He was so genuine. I was never starstruck over anyone. Including over him. He just felt like an old friend that night with a little bit of Jesus mixed in. I don’t think I would be here today if it wasn’t for their music. Thank You both for being a light in this world.

Unbelievable that much time has gone by so quickly!!! Artists recordings in our minds, keep them at that time & place, when that recording was made, & you forget, they age like the rest of us too, many like an expensive whine. In many cases, artists now gone, are remembered for the gifts they shared with us through their recorded music. Many songs transport us back through time, & back to where we were, when we first heard them!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ I so love the gift of music, created for us, by our loving Savior....
