Delsin is faster cuz he not only dodged light but moves at the speed of light and has a one shotting move in turning people into matter, and I believe lore wise Cole is not protected from that kind of thing(unless he is, but that also means he would counter HV blade cuz being disassembled and turned into matter is probably the worst HV blade can do). Nice video man, glad I could help in some small part being one of the like twenty people who still care about infamous it seems. I agree with Raiden speedblitzing Cole, and given how low Cole’s resistance to matter manipulation is in comparison to the HF blade’s capabilities, he should be able to cut him to ribbons, in addition to being a more skilled fighter. The only thing Cole really has over Raiden is Attack Potency and that can only get him so far.

I'd say it depends on which of them is likely to strike first. If Cole knows how dangerous Raiden is, then he'd just kite him at range with AOE attacks. Otherwise, considering how eager Cole is to enter into melee range despite his ranged advandage, Raiden instacuts him a bajillion times the instant he shows aggression. Also, Raiden is a soldier/assassin, and Cole is a civilian with powers. One has killer instinct+training+talent, and the other has to compensate for lack of experience with firepower.

As much as I love Cole McGrath and the inFamous series, I can't see Cole winning this fight, since I don't think he's ever had to deal with anyone that Raiden has bested. Maybe he'd win/get a distinct advantage if he got the jump on him but even then, it'd depend on whether that would do any meaningful damage.

I think the fact that Cole is able to sense electricity and drain It is massively undervalued. It's made very clear that Raiden's main power source is electricity. Cole being able to always know Raiden's exact location and draining the energy out of both the organic and inorganic parts of his body are abilities that Raiden can't even come close to. It doesn't matter what his body is able to do if it can't function.

Pretty good video. The way I see it, either Raiden one shots or gets one shotted. He's fully capable of taking Cole down quickly, but if at any point Cole realizes just how deadly Raiden's blade is, he could genuinely nuke the area they're in and just being in the blast radius would vaporize Raiden. Granted Cole would be reluctant to nuke the area if we're using good Cole, but if Raiden chops off an arm or something and Cole realizes he's about to die, he might just say fuck it and destroy everything to keep from being killed. All in all, I'd say Raiden wins 7 or 8 times out of ten, though Cole would undoubtedly be the single most powerful man he ever fought

This may be an hot take, but I would say it would end in a draw, and it isn't because it's a fight between my two favorite games. At first glance Raiden might seem the winner with the whole cutting clean through Cole with the Zandatsu at lightning speed and having the strength to suplex a metal gear but when you take into account that all of that power comes from an eletrical powered cyborg body and Cole can drain eletrical energy with a thought then that levels the playing field. Assuming Cole isn't fast enough to drain Raiden dry of energy at the very least he would be absolutely nerfed the moment he enters in the Zandatsu range which would make the blade only go as deep as bone even assuming he could get an hit, something which Cole could easly heal by draining more energy OR he could get not hit at all by parrying with the amp or the eletromagnetic shield he has which by the way charges him for each hit the shield takes. Also Raiden may be fast but Cole also has enhanced reflexes when he enters focus mode, so they can be of similar speed and when it comes to raw strength they're both power houses with Raiden being able to lift whole buildings and Cole being able to cut the Beast's face in half with lightning. Assuming Raiden would have an hard time getting near Cole he would have to keep he's distance and bet in quick jabs before retreating giving Cole the chance to dish some punishment. Granted it wouldn't be easy for him either as Raiden managed to survive getting punched through metal gear excelsius, Cole would probably need to get more damage than what he dealt to finish Kessler or the Beast. Raiden does have the Ripper mode but the Ripper mode doesn't protect him against explosions and knockbacks and given the flow of battle Cole could keep his distance by throwing pulses at Raiden until Ripper mode wears off. So Raiden would probably be the first to run out of stamina followed by Cole trying to kill him, in the end either Cole would slip up and end up getting both him and Raiden killed or they would just give up and go grab a beer. HOWEVER Raiden would get absolutely destroyed if we're talking about Beast Cole. Even if the poor war boy manages to somehow cut Cole down his beast powers allow him to regenerate at an atomic level. So seconds to weeks later (depending on how many pieces Raiden cuts him up) Cole would come knocking for a rematch.

the best raiden scaling i've ever seen,but you forgot a few things, First is raidens' ripper mode, So considering his ability to slow down plazma lazers which are equally fast as light (his best speed Feat so far) You forgot to mention that His ripper mode Greatly increases his speed, And no,Using ripper mode in gameplay doesn't affect the speed (due to the fact of The lasers slowing Even without ripper mode activated),But lorewise,ripper mode Can Double his speed With lowball , Which would make him 42.302 (the Highballed version of speed lol) times faster than light with the lowball version,and 84.684 faster than light with the highball version, And If we Highball Ripper mode to quadrupling His speed, This might make raiden 169.208 times faster than light with the highballed version. Haven't even watched the video yet but I'm gonna just say in my own mind off the bat, I think Raiden would win. Maybe not by a landslide some might assume considering Cole is pretty capable himself, in theory I reckon Cole would even be capable of draining Raiden's new body from Revegeance and any damage done to Raiden would last, he wouldn't be able to heal himself assuming there's no other cyborgs he can pull from. But also using Cole's own game logic, he'd need to get pretty close to Raiden to try draining and it would take a few seconds, which is more then enough time for Raiden to cut Cole in two. So its unlikely Cole would be able to do so in time. I don't think the AMP would be capable of surviving a slash from Raiden's Regular HF Blade never mind Sam's so Cole would have no up close defence which is what Raiden would specialize with considering sheer speed I'm pretty sure would outclass Cole in every capacity. Cole's best chance in my mind would be to use the environment to keep away from Raiden, not that Raiden wouldn't be far behind considering the speed, but Cole's powers would be able to keep Raiden at bay for so long. If Cole is able to get the jump on Raiden or manages to land a few clean hits with either some powerful attacks, freezes him (assuming he's got the Ice powers) or is able to throw enough objects that land (assuming Raiden doesn't just cut them) or even throwing Raiden himself into things (assuming the kinetic lift would work on Raiden's body too) then he might be able to wear Raiden down but one wrong move and its curtains. If it it were best out of 10, I think Cole might be able to fluke or even manage to drain/damage Raiden enough to claim a victory but the majority of the time Raiden would just overpower Cole in a blitz of strength, speed and slashes. And this isn't even thinking about 'Ripper mode'.

I can't see Raiden winning this fight purely because I'm not buying the speed advantage you say Raiden has. Raiden might be unbeatable up close but he can't do anything at a distance and must get close first to hit you with his sword, whereas Cole can shoot lightning over a theoretically infinite distance and can use his powers to move incredibly fast, especially in an urban environment. If Cole rode on the side of a helicopter and hovered over Raiden a great distance, say like a police helicopter following a police chase, what could Raiden do to stop him? Throw his sword at him? Also surprised you make a Dragon Ball reference but don't mention Raiden absorbs energy from his hands, so you could theoretically give him an Android 19/Android 20 style ability to counter Cole.

I also disregard the video's numbers half the time because they usually make no sense even in context-he did another video where he said Big Boss has the strength to lift Metal Gears because of a boss fight in Peace Walker where it allows you to lift one of Metal Gear Zeke's legs with a contextual prompt. This is ludonarrative dissonance-are we also supposed to believe Solid Snake defeated Psycho Mantis by plugging his controller into the second controller port? I don't believe that 15x speed difference for a second.

"Go to his Discord" also does not excuse his lack of providing his calculations in the video itself, because I have no interest in joining his discord community and that shouldn't be required of me as a KZbin viewer. This is like a phony doctor asking me to buy their book if I don't understand their 10 minute KZbin video on how calisthenics can help cure Covid. But I looked at the calculations anyway in his google docs in the description and it make about as much sense as his conclusions. I really don't care about the trigonometry on display because it's all a completely moot point anyway-gameplay and story are two different things and the calculations should be accepted with a truckload of salt exactly 4.5x10^7 Joules in mass. Just saying "scaling" also isn't some magic handwave that proves one character is as strong as another. Again, I don't give a fuck if the strategy guide for Peace Walker and the in-battle dialogue "confirms" that Big Boss lifted Metal Gear Zeke's arm which was trying to crush him, because not only did it not happen in a cutscene, but it's so obvious that this strength is not actually canon to the character as it doesn't fit the narrative of Metal Gear and isn't displayed anywhere else.

Yep I am now confident the Metal Gear verse and Infamous verse would scale pretty high against anime characters. Attack on Titan, Bungou Stray Dogs, and Demon Slayer is out no way is any high tier character in those verses would win against Raiden and Cole MacGrath. Raiden would defeat all of Tokyo Ghouls and Akame Ga Kill even Shikoutazer would fall to him and even Dragon Ken Kaneki would be harmed. He could fatally hurt higher level characters in other verses with those beyond atomic level cutting swords. Cole MacGrath in raw power would rival Fairy Tail and Black Clover characters at this point of time.

just pure stat wise raiden has the advantage. only way cole could win is if he drained raidens electricity but that takes time and raiden could tank that drain long enough to get close enough to at least stop the drain then defeat cole. been going through a infamous binge lately probably why youtube reconmended this to me so was really cool to listen to cheers

Ok no, Cole can literally shoot Raiden down and heal/replenish ammo with whatever electricity he has nearby. Or use pretty much every L1+X ability (forgot the name) except the one that's an electric sticky to push Raiden down and bio-leech him if necessary (tho that would imply that Cole saw that as the only way since we're talking about Hero Cole)
