twenty something I feel great! At first it was a little difficult--what to eat at restaurants, what to do during family get togethers etc I think I have a good handle on it and I personally feel more energetic. I love how I'm fueling my body with nutrient dense foods. I started this whole thing to be healthier but the more I research the more I learn about the ethical and environmental issues which makes me happier I with my decision. Thanks for asking :)

i am so glad i came across this channel while searching for vegan cooking/recipe channels on youtube...i am a vegetarian right now and im thinking about going vegan for the animals but when i watch other vegan channels i was a bit hesitant becoz i thought that being vegan means that i have to exclude salt&oil from my diet but after coming across this channel and binge watch all ur previous videos i know now that it is only a matter of preference, and u can even eat gluten if u have no problem with it...so i am so happy that i found this channel, ur kind of cooking just suites my needs now i can be vegan with no problems...hehe...btw i love this recipe i am surely gonna try my hand at it...

Jennifer Renthlei My family loves vegan junk food :) We too chose veganism for the animals. We eat the same thing we love prior to going vegan. Google or search in KZbin your usual dishes with the word vegan (like vegan Japanese curry, vegan Bulgogi, vegan bao bun, vegan ramen, vegan nachos/quesadilla, etc). Mary's Test Kitchen and the Kale Sandwich Show are also great channels. Best wishes!

DreamingTata VeganMama thankzzz for the awesome tip...i am really uninformed about the whole veganism and i am learning bit by bit by doing research in the internet and all...coz when u get into a certain diet i think that it is important to know what is the right and wrong approach to the diet...so thanks again for the info...

It's kind of depressing that veganism is just affiliated with a diet with restrictions. No oil no gluten, salt is a new one 😂 we need iodine. I would suggest the 30 day vegan challenge from Colleen Patrick goudreau. It's a book with a lot of info with simple recipes. It talks about the lifestyle and ethics behind veganism. Also Food for thought Podcast, which helped me immensely when I first went vegan. Nothing too preachy and elaborate. I suggest trying to recreate the dishes you grew up with vegan substitutes. Also I would have loved to know about soy curls years ago so check them out. Good luck!

@jeffbaby2412
@jeffbaby2412 7 жыл бұрын
Emily Cruz every video of vegan channels i watched before this never add salt and always talk about "training urself to eat without salt" and cooking with water instead of oil i was a bit confused becoz my first impression of veganism was eating plant based food and not ingesting any animals/animal products/animal by-products then i watched those channels and i thought to myself is salt/oil/gluten not vegan coz they never use it and i thought back and rack my brains as to how those can be derived from animals but i find no clue as to how that can be..it was very confusing, veganism is very very new in our state i never hear talk of veganism/vegan diet or anything like that ever i know of veganism only from watching youtube videos so it was kind of really hard for me gathering info around me and vegan meal substitutes will be hard for me to find but im great at cooking so ill just have to make that from scratch so i'll need to research recipes for that....

I made this today, my family and I loved it! You definitely weren't exaggerating when you said it was delicious 😉 Thanks so much for the recipe ! I actually let the sauce simmer for a little less time, that way it was a bit thinner and the rice could soak up some of the sauce, which also tastes really good ☺️

I like making buffalo tofu wings 1-Use a whole block of tofu and cut into squares 2- get some cornstarch and season it with salt and pepper 3- coat each tofu square in the cornstarch (preferably twice) 4- deep fry them until golden brown 5- get whatever vegan wing sauce you like and coat them all 6- place them all on a baking sheet and bake them for inbetween 12-15 minutes at 425 F
@mateoking3219
@mateoking3219 7 жыл бұрын
Oh, one block usually makes around 20 wings depending on how you cut it. It cut the tofu in half (vertically) then cut again (horizontally)
