Woo-hoo!! ❤😊 I am STOKED! Last year, went to JoAnns looking for Halloween stuff, and a lady looks at me and says "Why are they putting this stuff out so early - I HATE Halloween!" I looked at her, picked up a Skull and said "I wish they'd put it out sooner! I LOVE Halloween!" Then i kissed the skull on the forehead and grinned a huge grin, lol! And it was August, by the way. I'm sure that same lady is gonna have a kitten when she sees stuff out in MAY 😂 So, i like their merch thus far - you're right - super witchy - but i have a lot of witchy stuff anyway (although a lot of mine is a mite more scary and a lot less elegant). This year, I'm going with more of an apothecary, mad scientist gig, with the specimen jars, the shadow boxes, the anatomy diagrams, lab equipment, and all my witchy candles, decor, hand-crafted potion bottles and apothecary cabinets. I have two large china cabinets full of antique china and fine crystal that get put away and become cabinets of curiosities, with all my cool witchy stuff. I haven't slept in about 36 hours because i stayed up all night making tiny furniture for one of my haunted houses (1/24 scale). I love making my own stuff, so it's nowhere NEAR as elegant. Mainly, the stuff i pick up is mostly Halloween crafting supplies, but i love getting ideas and inspiration from all the beautiful stuff. I can't wait to get home and start working on my tiny haunted houses (but first, maybe a quick cat nap) 😂. Keep doing what you're doing, Ms Cris - i love your Halloween content and am truly happy to be a subscriber.
