The media made Ronaldo look like the cool man who always delivers and made Messi look like the bottler who only was class for Barca (stats say otherwise). People even burned Messi's shirt. In his younger days, he was a flashy winger from Madeira with a bag of tricks but he was a bit selfish and didn't pass the ball. He actually had lots of talent. He was quite skinny and tall. From then on, he worked hard to get to the top. He raced with cars with heavy weights on his back and he went to the gym every day. I heard that he even broke windows to go into the gym. He became stronger. He signed for Sporting and came like a man with lots of muscles (training paid off). At Man U, he was a skilful midfielder before he became a winger/striker. At Real Madrid he was still a striker/ winger until he became just a striker in the 2016/17 season. That is when he became a goal poacher and it continued at Juventus and for the rest of his career, but it doesnt mean he doesn't go back to midfield as we see at Al Nassr. I know more about ur idol than u do. That is inspiring but I don't like him coz he throws tantrums and acts like a baby. I never say he is a terrible dribbler or passer but when you compare them in those categories, Messi always comes out on top. I like Ronaldo coz of his goal scoring numbers and his passion. He is the greatest athlete of all time and the greatest goal scorer of all time but as a footballer, I go for Messi.
