Oh my gosh!!! Thank you for this video! I had no idea I had the 2016 model. A friend gave me this car seat (and I don’t have the manual). So, when I tried to look up disassembly, reassembly, and how to adjust the straps I kept finding online manuals for car seats with the harness adjustment strap (which this model doesn’t have). Ohmygosh, thank you so much! I watched this video and skipped looping the belt back through the metal thing a second time and could NOT figure out why the straps just kept coming straight through. I’m glad I could help, car seats are a pain. Don’t feel bad about having the straps wrong. My cousin has the same car seat and made a cross country road trip from Texas to Indiana without the straps anchored in the back, she thought she had it correctly but didn’t. Everyone makes mistakes

Oh my god this is literally so helpful I’m 35 weeks and I’ve been putting off this reassembly because I was just so confused lol did the second hole for the chest strap fit your baby?? My car seat doesn’t have those metal clasps in the back to hold the long straps, it just has the split plate 🤔

ugh, its such a pain to adjust the straps. If you have someone to help you it'll make things easier. you can adjust the straps my tightening them from the back. I always put baby in the sweat and buckled them in and then my husband would put a hand on baby to make sure he wouldn't tip out and then I would tight them and then fasten them in the back. I don't have the car seat anymore or I would do a video showing how to tighten them. I hope I explained well enough

I know this comment is 2 months old so you've almost certainly figured it out by now. You basically have to flip it over with the baby inside to adjust. I didn't do much research on the car seat before I bought it in 2018. I absolutely hate it and am only using it again because I don't want to buy another seat for baby #2.
