So glad I found your video. I'm a quilter and bought elmers glue bottles. Not even aware of this problem. I'm going to check all my bottles for the blue mark on the back. Thanks for the info.

I'm going to run home, check and see what the lids on the case of glue I got from Sam's has. . but my first thought was. . take pipe tape that plumbers use. . wrap It around threads on bad bottle. . then put top on. . . should take up the slack!!. Going to try. . .as my very first tips are in the mail!!

have you tried wrapping a thin layer of paper around the screw top It might reform the groves to match. very vague, but am sure all can figure out what I am saying .

The one who have a bottle who works and empty, wash the empty bottle and pour the new glue in the old bottle! When I look at my screen, I see a difference in the diameter!!

I have a bottle, the back is blue but different from yours. This glue business is totally confusing. I have been putting some in a plastic cove and using a cheap q-tip to apply…..needless to say it can be messy at times.

Just saw this and after dealing with counterfeit rulers (who would believe it?) wonder if the black labeled bottles were fakes and if you ever contacted the Elmer's company about this.

Hi Cristy! Do you know if Glue All would work too? I have some of that and it says “easy water cleanup”. Just wondering if it would work the same as the school glue? Thanks so much! I also just placed an order for your tips this morning.

Hi! I find that Glue All doesn't wash out nearly as easily. It's not a permanent glue, so it will wash out eventually, but it definitely holds on. It's also quite a bit more expensive than the Washable. Thank you!

I clean mine after every use or they can clog. (Warm water and stylus).
