this song is not sad or depressive. Its origin from Indonesia where the main instruments are called Gamelan, it has religious influence behind it which derived from Hinduism and Buddhism. To feel and embrace nothingness. The song name is "Lotus" from album called "Jalan-Jalan" which means "to go for a walk". It's unique because the artist itself is not Balinese but actually Japanese musicians. you should buy the album it's worth it.

Same... I really felt a strange feeling watching it when I was younger. Now I'm 17 and it's hard to tap back into that childhood feeling. I thought this was one of those weird indie films way back when I saw it, and it's apparently made by a French company, but I still didn't really have the same feeling I got watching it compared to a Disney film or something. But it turned out to be so much more touching than any Disney movie. When this song played, and I was that little, I felt a very sad but comfortable emotion that I still kind of get listening to it now. I come back here and listen every now and then, especially when I feel down. I admire your idea of ruining the magic. I agree. But I just kind of think that the movie was better off just watching it in childhood, because I wouldn't want to ruin the feeling either. 😅😁

In my opinion the story has too much potential for just one movie. The dragonhunters world felt so big and it would be much better if the characters develop slowly and prepare for battle until they're finally strong enough for defeating the world eater. Don't ya think? The end just didn't feel right. Too sudden and actually too optimistic. the end kinda destroyed the mysterious and nicely dark atmosphere. Man It has so much fucking potential. It could be one of those kinda dark but not too dark series. Perfect drama, but not depressing, since the characters are just lovely. So much room for fantasy, battle, emotions, and joy
@ajayusspiritus69555 жыл бұрын

this is the type of music that should be playing when you have nothing left in the world, when everything seems unworthy and every entity seems meaningless, when fields look barren and the skies seem empty. When you have lost everything and want no more pain. This is what seperation feels like, the loss of a friend, a loved one. The aesthetic of this movie is ideal. Nowadays, movies are just cash-grabs and have zero potential, zero love and zero care. Stories such as this are compelling and incredibly underrated. They don’t receive much recognition and don’t receive a lot of money. That’s the cruelty of the situation; something made from love is just alienated from the massive scheme of things where it’s all about money, and films like these can’t make it to the point of being “popular” because it was ambition for a possible passion that was laid the foundation for the film.

It’s kind of amazing how inquisitive and reflective music can be. This song makes me think of my older brother and my life now that he is gone. I lost him four years ago. I live day by day almost fooling myself into the idea that he didn’t exist. Most of the people that I’ve met since his passing think I’m an only child. I don’t really speak about him. There are days when I think about him. There are days when I dream about him. But I try not to. It reminds me of all of the mistakes I’ve made. My dreams about him are always the same. I never get to hear his voice. We’re together and then something happens where I can’t save him or he just disappears, and then I wake up. This song reminds me of the idea that I’m by myself. And that one day, my parents will pass, and I’ll be the only one left, walking this earth on my own. This song reminds me that I choose to shoulder everything, and that that’s just the way that it is. Bc one day I will have to shoulder everything. On the other side. Firefly Sanctuary by them gives me hope that one day I might reunited with him. That he’s out there in a parallel universe enjoying his life. Being happy. Living life.

That brought tears to my eyes, I understand how you feel ... Kind of, I had two brothers who passed away, unfortunately they passed away before I was born, my middle brother "Lior" was the son of my mother and father while my older brother "Moshiko" was a brother from a previous marriage (husband was a piece of shit and that's why my mother divorced him), my brother Lior was really close to my father, he was born with cerebral palsy, he unfortunately suffered all his life from pain, one day he started to feel sick, he had high fever and pain, my father said he could see the grim reaper Hovering over my brother, he died at the age of 13 in his sleep, my father got up in the morning for work and went to wake my brother to go to school, my brother didn't breathe and his body was cold, my father almost cries every time he talks about him, my brother died 9 months before I was born, my father said 4 Months before I was born, my brother appeared in front him in his dream and told him that my mother is pregnant and she is going to give birth to a smart girl, and this girl was me, maybe I feel a little sad that I have no siblings, but at least my brother no longer suffers

You know this artwork, visual and audio, peice of ART. Makes me meloncholic, and at ease. It reminds me of my childhood picking up a movie that was in the clearance section. Only to find out that, love, time, effort, and the embodiment of emotions. Makes us who we are. Just as much as it makes a film. You've helped me in song and helped me figuratively. Thank you so much for helping making me who I am, and who I am proud to be. May you have a wonderful rest of your life, and to those who worked on Dragon Hunters.

I find movie 2 hours ago. Now, after one hour of looking through the Internet found the song. Thanks for upload it here. Love it. Our world is so... normal... and boring...
@slenderhatesmillennials19510 жыл бұрын
Right so you want our lands to be flying islands and Dragons to exist? I would sorta like to live there but the dragons make me say otherwise. I can agree on our world being normal and boring though.
@Slavio99410 жыл бұрын
But of course! Dragons are great! Dragons are obligatory! They are aggresive, right, but I prefer to be killed by giant flying lizard with fire, than little poisonous animal...
@slenderhatesmillennials19510 жыл бұрын
True but ha by the way not all dragons are aggressive but the evil ones are ACTUALLY EVIL Some Dragon in some lore take people's souls and torture them or eat them my favourite death dragon related would be to become a menacing dragon also in some loves dragons have human or higher intelligence atleast with a small poisonous animal you usually get a warning or only attack to defend themselves or because they follow instinct most aggressive dragons will kill because they just feel like it. How would you feel if a giant fire breathing dragon was discovered it was immortal it was made of pure fire when it was mad water just turns to lava and it can summon meteors and it was red oh and the fireball it shoots was the size of a football field?

10 years ago on Thanksgiving morning I woke up in the living room and this random movie was on. This exact scene is what got me hooked. The soundtrack and visuals matched up perfectly. Since then I’ve watched it every Thanksgiving; It’s become a tradition.

I seem to remember this movie once or twice every year and remember the memories of watching this when I was younger. I finally watched it again today and when this started playing I got hit with a wave of nostalgia and wanted to cry. The movie is a funky but awesome experience and I love the visuals. I wish I had other friends who watched this when they were young and understand how I feel returning back to it

When our greed will have depleted our blue ship from all of its resources, When our lust for blood will have killed all of our hopes for a bright future, When the remains of the most beautiful things we've build, will fade into oblivion along the results of our worst atrocities, When life will have been defeated by her most complex creation, This last song will echo through space, whispering: "If only..."

Glad that my dad showed me this movie, this soundtrack was being kept in my memories throughout the past 5-6 years and is just stuck in my head. especially these scenes on the floating village are just so dark and beautifull at the same time, one of the best movies I have ever watched, oh and I forgot to mention that the scene where this silver knight shows up was just always so weird to me as a kid, idk why but now its one of my favorites

I haven't watched the movie, but I watched the cartoon as a kid, and the scene that stuck with me is when... SPOILERS!!! ...the Red Dragon tells Gwizdo the origin of the world they live in, humanity's birth, and the creation of their entire universe, making Gwizdo the only human who'll ever know the true story everyone had been looking for (nobody believes him when he tries to tell it). I think this song would have been perfect for that scene, specially the story telling moments. The Red Dragon's story is quite tragic, and it's kind of a powerful scene when you realize it's basically a human meeting the deity that created all of them.

Everything in this film had a wonderful design and beauty to it. This video highlighted some of the best aesthetic creations from the film. World Eater just looks out of place from the other characters, style, and imagery.
@plesioth46457 жыл бұрын
I personally think the World Gobbler looks out of place in purpose, it's a supernatural demon that ravages worlds every 20 years, it's out of place design makes it stand out as what it is. It is considered a Game Changer in the villains wiki after all.
@mckenzie.latham917 жыл бұрын
I liked the design becasue it is so ethereal, it's giant skeleton dragon who devours the entire universe becasue it can never be full. I also like how it's most terrifying feature is its eyes which also is it's weak point.

By itself this music would be hauntingly beautiful, a masterpiece in its own right. But play it while images of a powerful society long since passed are floating towards their inevitable demise and this becomes a work of art unmatched except perhaps by only the greatest our civilization has ever seen. Amazing Video Crisyta, you truely captured the essence of the world depicted in the movie!

This scene awe struck me. the reality of all these nations lost to the destruction of space and time, memories lives and emotions felt all forgotten through death and emptiness. this dragon is like one of the agents of death... and yet it is beautiful to watch. how the love of these three friends each struggling with their own personal dragons seem to fill up this emptiness. It really made me cherish the ppl in my life and made me fall in love of the world i live in which is filled with life. Alhamdu lil Allah, ty God
