Overrated actress. If you can catch an actor acting in a role, they have failed, and it's easy to catch Blanchett acting in every role. Irrespective of how many Oscars she has won (modern Oscars are a joke anyway) she is not as talented as many other actresses out there
@markorakocija54732 жыл бұрын
@@commanderkeen3787 I agree with you in the sense that she is obviously a theatre actor rather than a screen actor. Sometimes that doesn't translate well to the screen. When she begins talking about using her hands, my heart leapt. As an actor, it is always one of our major hangups, what do we do with our hands, our arms, etc. etc. We feel the worry that we have either been still for too long, or are moving too much.Those of us who were trained onstage and made the transition to film are constantly learning to tone things down, and then when we go back to stage we have to go the opposite. Some of us, not myself and not all, but some, want the director to tell us every move so that we can take the blame off of ourselves if it doesn't look right later. Like she says, some of us are HANDSY, lol.

That's my dream, actually. To be handed great film box sets and/or special editions with such ease!
