This clears up a lot on my thoughts on critical hits and misses! I played a game not too long ago and a friend convinced me that my crit hit was subject to super senses. I'm still learning and these tutorials seriously help a lot!

Nothing is more satisfying than landing a Mind Control, attacking and rolling a critical miss. For a split second the opponent is laughing, but then they sllooowwwlly realize what happened.

HI, I know maybe this doesn't answer your question really much, but they basically do certain actions by giving them or taking away from them points (usually some simple actions add points, and then a really powerful action substract point). I know it doesn't say too much but that's it: check the Plot actions you are able to make, if you have to add Plot Points then add them and do the action, if you have to substract them make sure you have enough Plot Points to substract; if so, then do it and perform that action. Also, you can just have one of those characters in your force. That's it!

If you incapacitate someone with two tokkens, you can't put a third one, but you make one damage (no pushing) so if you roll a critical hit, it takes two damage.

@@TheTabletopTeacher I know, I had a brick and mortar shop for 3years then my young onset Parkinson started to really take its toll on my body from the LONG days and not having the funds to hire Anyone, I had a good play group for heroclix, star trek attack wing, of course magic the gathering, along with. Starting to get GW going from nothing. The final straw was when I earned a nine (9) day stay in Vanderbilt Hospital Neuro-ICU. So I totally get where you are coming from. I just want to thank you for taking the time to do the videos, and if there is ever anything I could do for you please just hit me up and I will be glad to listen and share things I did right and thing I could have done A LOT BETTER. Just know your videos are amazing and appreciated.

If you're targeting multiple characters with a vanilla attack and decide not to assign damage to one hit target, do they still take the 1 critical hit damage or do you need to assign at least 1 damage for it to be increased by the crit hit? I think I know the answer but it comes up so infrequently I thought I'd check

I should probably look this up in a forum before, but I'll hazard this answer that seems logical and in step with the wording. It's an INCREASE in damage; only if the attack deals damage. If you deal 0 damage, then there would be no increase. But if you do find a ruling that says otherwise, please point me to it. I could be wrong.

I thought non damaging attacks are not affected by crit miss.

It used to be the case... Not anymore. A crit miss on any attack deals the attacker one unavoidable damage.

A successful attack with doubles give the attacker the keyphrase KNOCKBACK.

Is the increased 1 damage unavoidable or penetrating? Somebody asked me about this and I wasnt sure

The increase in damage is no different than the damage that was dealt. For instance, a critical hit with Energy Explosion deals 3 damage to all targets, but it isn't penetrating nor unavoidable, unless the character has some special power or ability that grants that.

OK, so what about probability control can you make a player reroll on a critical miss and or a critical hit ? do you still take the one unavailable damage for a critical miss?

The increase in damage or the unvavoidable damage only happens once the roll is finalized, that's after any use of Probability Control.
