Lmao the only reason Andrew/Matt said that Laudna looked familiar was because she is the freaking body double of freaking Lady Vex'halia de Rollo!

I still remember from an earlier episode that Andy likely wasn't even part of Laudna's original backstory. Marisha just improvised the scenario when someone asked her about a crush from childhood. She was teased a bunch, especially by Sam for not being able to think of a less generic name
@jare395910 ай бұрын
I keep forgetting about this. I KNOW she is. But in the moment I forget. I think Laudna does that too. Like whenever Percy is rude to her. I go "Oh right. She looks like a dead version of his wife." Added on to the fact that at one point Percy literally caused Vex to die. Or how messed up it must have been for Gwen to see a lady who vaguely looks like her mom.

Bullying this random dude for having the same name as a boy who was a dick 20-odd years ago. (And even if it's the same guy, was probably traumatized and repented after seeing the girl he used to tease die gruesomely in front of him.) Peak DnD!

This is an amazing animation! Ashton dragging Laudna away was my favourite part I have Thoughts on this moment, I'm just gonna put them here don't mind me. This moment gave me so much second hand embarrassment, but I'm also glad it happened? I'm not gonna defend Imogen, that was Not good, but it's kinda just fun to see a girl with the most protagonist energy to be so much the opposite of perfect. Karens aren't fun irl and I don't think behaving like that irl is ever justified, but I want female fictional characters who are both good people and petty assholes. Maybe Imogen will learn something here. She's clearly being overprotective of her girlfriend because they're in the place of her traumatic past, and also Sometimes starting a relationship is like that, you Can become so concentrated on making your crush happy that you lose the sense of doing right by others a little bit. It's not Okay but it can happen. Laudna is also probably not fully over what happened, and trauma from someone's very childhood Can affect them years later, even if it seems like something easy to get over, like it's not that hard to understand. Is it healthy what they did? Or okay? Nope. Absolutely horrible. But man am I glad it happened. Some people act like Imogen is irredeemable now but I think that's way overkill. CR is just doing a good job at letting female characters be assholes. And Andrew deserves to have a talk about this with whoever he comes home to, because some customers deserve to be remembered as the worst. I also think this was brilliant from a perspective of a tabletop game between friends bc it was such a troll moment. Matt probably did that on purpose and that's great, but I don't want to speculate on the cast's motives. A few things can be true. Please don't waste your time if you wanna disagree in replies

Just a thought, If Laudna was bullied by a 5 year old Andy, as strung up on a sun tree when she was a young woman during the first campaign and then is in this campaign, meaning she's 30 plus how ever old she was when she died, making Andy over 50. Not sure how old Andrew is, but This would add an additional layer of embarrassment.

Ngl I got mad at Imogen here. So much pettiness and hatred directed towards a man she can only assume was the once 5 y/o that threw dirt clods at Laudna. All because he has the same name, in a literal city with probably a good 1000 or more people. Life's hard enough for an on wheels scone merchant, especially with the Slayers Cake bakery to complete with. Imagine how rough that would be? Some of the cities/continents saviors are your baking competition. Then you've got crazy looking adventures giving you grief over the actions of a 5 y/o... Poor Andrew...

Great work KunKunGun, sadly even your work can't salvage the incredibly petty and pathetic actions of Imogen and Laudna in this moment. Especially Imogen. Laudna survived the entire time the group separated, killed Bordor, and yet can't handle a childhood brat from her past on her own? Not even a bully, just a kindergarten brat.
