My tiefling has a rather thick (and long, insert dick joke here) tail with a wicked looking fish hook style bard. I imagine most artists choose a thinner tail because it's more traditionally devil-like and definitely easier to draw, animate, and emote with. My tiefling doesn't use their tail in more subtle/dexterous movements, for example, the way Molly curls his tail around Caleb's wrist. My Remir can't really do that. They still use their tail to trip/play slap party members and curl it around their waists/seats, but it's more of a cat-like, non-prehensile thing

I’ll say it, Mollymauk was a laugh and I miss him some times but... it’s a good thing Caduceus joined the party. Molly was part of the gang but what they needed was a person to nudge them just enough that they don’t get arrested every 5 minutes. Caduceus is the moral compass, but a very gentle “You’re free to do what you want, I’ll only point you the right way it’s up to you if you follow it or not” type of compass. Hell Molly’s death was probably the first big if not the biggest point of character development for the party. Caleb and Nott started trusting the party soon after as they all bonded in grief, fjord took up the co-leadership role with Caleb, jester realized just how bad the world could be and matured slightly though is still the mischievous scamp we all love, Yasha... well, blind spot was still going so Yasha just experienced more grief and left for a bit, and beau realized how much of a piece of shit she had been her whole life and decided she wanted to change. “Always leave the town better than how it was when you entered” - Mollymauk Tealeaf, the man who conned a village into thinking he was royalty and stole from them but left them happy that a “noble” had visited them and gave them a good time.

I think Mollymayk was a moral compass, just a little different than Caduces. An extravagant, hedonistic circus clown he was. But I still firmly believe he was the best of the Nein. He showed them compassion, loyalty, and honesty through deceit. When he died, I think the Nein lost their spirit. Without him, they were just a bunch of would-be heroes. But Caduces gave them that spirit again by healing them with faith and love.

just because I keep seeing comments upset about Molly and Tal's behaviour here: I thought Tal and everyone else, including Liam and Matt, were very clear on the fact that everyone else saw Caleb obviously looting the soldiers, even if they weren't sure what he got (though they could reasonably guess there was some money). then, when they asked Caleb about what he had found, having seen him loot nearly all the guards, he only reported the weapons and armour, and did not say anything when Molly pointedly asked about money. Liam then later deliberately said that Caleb handed his money to Jester away from the group, and had given an excuse so that the topic of conversation would not be known to the others. so Molly knew: - Caleb had looted most of the guards, which almost certainly would have gained him some money - Caleb deliberately ignored his question about money in the loot he had gained when back with the group, which would cause most to believe he had money and intended to keep it for himself without any verbal objection to this - Caleb had had a private conversation with Jester, for some reason. Molly did not have the context of their earlier argument about money either. so he would have little reason to believe, given Caleb's vocal mistrust for everyone except Nott, that Caleb would give Jester money. therefore, in my opinion, Molly appears to believe that he has let Caleb get away with taking possibly a considerable portion of money for himself without allowing any input from the others. given he has been insistent about communication and respecting Caleb's feelings about the group and how they work together so far, I could see why he would be hurt or annoyed by this. no, Caleb doesn't really deserve it, but Molly is not given much reason to believe that he is wrong in this case, so I wouldn't be mad at Tal for acting as such.

Way back when I started D&D I played a human wizard for my first game and my friend went as a tiefling rogue. As with all D&D characters we made up headcanons for our party and we at one point we toyed with the idea of them hooking up and I drew a picture of my wizard backed into a corner with the rogue pining him against the wall with her arms and legs. So that last image is making me nostalgic.
