Can we appreciate how supportive Beau was in this moment? Telling Caleb he WAS like his classmates, and that he’s changed since that day he told her and Nott about his past. She had kept that secret this whole time, and thus she was able to provide a counterbalance to his misery through assurance and comfort. She is every bit his sister in all but blood. They’ve come a long way since Trostenwald.

I honestly love Beau so much. I like Keyleth and Laudna, but Marisha's best character for me has to be Beau; with her insight into DnD and just her smarts as a player and seeing all the connections, I truly enjoyed Beau. I'm also just biased and like Mighty Nein the most so far, as it was my first campaign of Critical Role I watched haha. I like all the groups, but I truly LOVE Mighty Nein.

The way Liam portrays 'broken' is just incredible.it's not just the speeches and the backstory it's the little quirks, glances even when he's just in the background. People or places are mentioned and there's just a little something that no-one on the cast notices. It's almost inspiring and shows that he doesn't just make up voices and accents but that he's actually an amazing actor

I wanted to rewatch this moment after listening to Liam talk about it on Talks. He said that he, Liam, knew that Jester was going to forgive him and not banish him, but Caleb didn´t. Shines a new light on this scene for me. And I am so glad that each of the Nein reacted the way they did. Maybe our sad hobo wizard can forgive himself one day.

sure you can be great at the one spell that's like a 'signature' for you, but that's not gonna matter if anyone can counter/stop its effects with any other spell in their arsenal.

Jester was the glue that held the M9 together. Smart, chaotic, bubbly, kind, wise in her way. An incredible character, and Laura is a goddamn gem for bringing her to life so eloquently and potently.

Okay...I just remembered something...(SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT FINISHED C2) (although, if you haven't, why are you even watching this video yet) Caleb, physically, is in his early to mid 30s...but he was in the asylum for 10 years...10 years that he doesn't (really) remember. For Caleb, unless you count the time he does remember from the asylum, he's only in his early to mid 20s. Of course he knows that he'd be his physical age, but imagine you're 16 or 17 one day and then, from your perspective, the next day you're almost 30. Caleb's character just continues to break my heart over and over and I just...LAHFHDUWIKAHENJSHAKFKGUE....😭😭😭😭😭

Put into perspective that Caleb may be physically 30+ years old but he's still mentally and emotionally 16-20s.

He went mad around 17, was in the asylum for 11 years, broke out at age 28, and was on the run for 5 years. Physically Caleb is about 33, but mentally about 22.

I love all of this and always will. I will say I love that Cadeuceus has always been I have a line when this subject gets mentioned and seems worried Caleb is beyond the line but this time he turns from the line to Caleb and sees oh wait no my line is way over there. We good let's go. No more this.
