What a fabulous video to see after watching Stonnie lead so many dogs-in-training through his course. I never fully appreciated his obstacle course until now. Rev the dog up, then require them to be calm. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. It's also been recently seeing the videos at water sites that I've more fully come to appreciate pack training. Thanks, Stonnie!

My family watched this on Friday night and Saturday morning we set up an obstacle course. Holy cow, our 15 week old pup completed the course off lead today (Sunday). I had no idea he was this smart! Thanks for all the info. I can't wait to learn (& teach my pup) more. P.S. We loved the part when your son fell down. Our pup fell off the ramp and we did not run to rescue him, he corrected himself by himself.

thank you and your family for all you do and the videos, I have 12wk. old bmc/gsd (american malinois. ), and was having some training difficulty. (owner problem not the dog) went looking for some info and found your videos, really like your techniques and you solved my issue with a simple search (biting issue) . amazed at how fast this dog is learning and what we have been able to do in just a few short weeks.... ordered a copy of dont shoot the dog.. your small challanges course and our local playground have alot i common, at 12wks she is doing stairs, slide and even the bleachers at the ball field. loved the corner fetch idea, works better than other things I have done.

Great video Stonnie, my puppy is generally well behaved until there is another dog or owner within 20m then he just HAS to get to them at all cost. He will choke himself on the leash until he gets to greet them or they are at a further distance away. It doesn't help that people are so excited to meet him, I'd like to tell them to walk straight past or ignore him, but I don't want to appear rude.

Hey Stonnie, amazing videos and amazing info you are sharing with the world. Thx for that! I have a very basic question: I rescued a German shepherd last week. She’s 9 weeks old now. I have no idea of her genetics (ref. Displasia). I have heard many dog handlers, and vets saying GS shouldn’t go up the stairs, ramps, etc. in the first year, because you can make them develop hip displasya in the future. WHat is your experience with that? Because I am dying to build a nice circuit and exercise with her. Let me know when you get a chance! Thx!

Can you do something about socialising with other dogs? My dog does a big freak out when I let him play with small dogs. He's huge, he started out fine with bitty dogs but since he's grown nobody'll let my dog anywhere near bitty dogs because he's so big and still growing into himself. He claws me to bits if anyone assumes they can interrupt a walk, he walks on my left, my left leg was full of dog holes, he kept trying to kill himself on the martingale collar he was on. We went on after a quick chat, and I was hoping he'd still have the manners I taught him when he was little.

I don’t believe you could have said anything more key to life than when you spoke of laughing at your son and teaching him about adversity in life. It applies to little people the same as little puppies. I heard it said years ago that you have to let your kids fall out of the little trees so they will know what to do in the big ones. I am totally disgusted with namby-pamby parents who are raising entitled whiners. Thank you! I just hit the subscribe button.

Hi Stonie I have a question. I have 2 "Three and a half month" Belgian Malinois Puppies. They are litter mates (Sisters). They are very attached. My question is should I start separating them for obedience training or let them do it together. Should I allow them to sleep together or place them in separate kennels. I worry they might not be able to perform independently if they are together to much. Would love some insight on that?

Hello Stonnie, I have been watching for a while. I really love the way you explain and how you work with the dogs. I am about to buy a puppy but still hesitating between a Rottweiler or a Malinois.( already had a wonderful Rottweiler that they stole from me :( ...) I would like to have some advice. I am a really active person who runs and plays alot with the dog. I love the power of a Rottweiler but really apreciate the slickness of the Malinois. Second of all I would like to have some information about how to chose a puppy from the litter and what behaviors i need to look for, and at what age does the puppy finish milking the mother so i can take him home... Thank you very much, and keep up with the videos Love the step prosses that you show us.
