yes Regina, even my patients who already had total knee replacement would experience pain again once they gain weight, this is because the knee is a weight-bearing joint. Working on it consistently even in small increments is one conservative way that is truly going to be helpful to your joints.

Thanks Doctor for your concern Yes I had a major accident few years back as I was working in Canara Bank and since I did not want to lose my job I joined work with in few months and instantly I could do most of my work with left that led to neglect of my right paralysed hand however now am retired so I once again want to do physiotherapy and all exercises so I can regain my strength on my Right hand 👌 Thanks 🙏

Hi maam Marita, that can happen because the initial unaffected knee tends to compensate for the painful side, bearing most of body weight and pre-disposing it to pain as well. We have many helpful videos in our channel that can help and guide you, weight management is also something you can look into if needed since ang tuhod kay weight-bearing joints. Every lb that we add to our body weight is 3x additional pressure to your already painful knee.
