A Kit Kat Melt, interesting concept. I figured they would've done a graham cracker crust and put little marshmallows instead of cheese(a la s'more style), still an interesting concept. The next video should be either about a place that has good 🌮s or a place that has good Reuben 🥪s(if there are such places in Japan that is), great video as always Paul

I haven't found a Reuben yet, but maybe that sandwich food truck I got the Cuban from will do one one of these days. Graham crackers are also impossible to find here...:(

The video title was so intriguing. Kit Kat melts on pizza? I'm SO glad they were two separate pizzas cause a combo of the 2 would have been ... strange. I wondered whether they might use melted marshmallows, instead of cheese, on the dessert melt.

I've wondered what the little text boxes meant in Japanese Kitkats, thank you for the explanation! You know, I think marshmallow paste or even icing on the kitkats would have been too sweet as they are already sugary, so I suppose they had to use something to bind together the melt.

Yeah, too sweet, and it might have taken away from the Kit Kat itself. Somehow the cheese was fine though👍

@@CriticalEatsJapan That's great to hear the cheese didn't take away any of the Kitkat flavor. I wouldn't doubt if there's been at least some kind of limited time cheese flavor with the Japanese Kitkats as there are so many unique flavors out there!

Honestly I'd try a kit-kat & cheese melt! People put cheese on things like apple pie and swear by it. You can just think of it as a poor man's chocolate cheesecake ;)

I’ve been meaning to try the melts here in the US. I liked the P’zones they had off and on and the melts are kind of a re-interpretation of those. PH is rather out of my way. They apparently aren’t popular enough to justify a location near downtown Seattle (lots of Domino’s, though).
