Not so much salty, but they do often make for a drier eating experience... :(

Being from Iowa, l have tried those, Aaron. That is good pulled pork and fair foods. I also love Cookies bbq sauce in the Midwestern US. Kaikun was cute in the background. Also, l enjoyed seeing some of the dancers, etc.

Looks like a fun festival! I tried some blue and red Mt Fuji boxed curries a few years ago that I bought on one of their sites that imports Japanese snacks and food. I wonder if it was from the same company? Bummer you didn’t like it more but 500 yen wasn’t a bad price at all!
@CriticalEatsJapan3 күн бұрын
Not sure, it was also from a box though. I had the option to have them prepare it for me, which was kinda nice. And 500yen was definitely not bad👍

Merry belated 4th of July! Thanks for the upload, can sound a bit lonely. Do Japanese gather together on Christmas like Western countries? Does the chicken show up any other time of the year? The cake looks best.
@CriticalEatsJapan6 күн бұрын
Christmas is not a holiday, but many people eat roast chicken on Christmas Eve. New Year's is more like how we would celebrate Christmas ---a time to get together with out families. Usually parents give kids money as a gift too.
