My favorite band of all time! This song is a highlight from their latest dark pop phase. They have strangely stayed more than they usually do in this genre

Been listening to Ulver for a good while now. Every album is a different genre and it takes getting used to whereas most other bands stay within a fixed set of rules. This makes it so you have expectations of what the next album will be, that doesn't work with these fellers. It adds to their appeal for me after adjusting to what they do.

One of my favorite Ulver songs, definitely the first one of their tracks that caught my attention. Too bad its the live version, there is so much detail, subtlety, and layering in the studio recording. Not sure why the person who recommended this went with a live version that by its nature loses some of the sonic quality.

Yeah! This is exciting, engaging and beautiful. I totally understand your fascination. But... I'm not surprised I never heard you mention "choir" since "Featuring a Choir" is somewhat a far stretch with these three on backing vocals/harmonies. Not fitting the theme enough in my opinion. They did a perfect job for this song though!
