I like how when you talked about "the producer" as if he was the unsung hero they usually are but you were actually looking at the producer in the video, playing the guitar on a sheer cliff. (also the guy getting a face massage) producer, composer, guitarist and mastermind of igorrr, Gautier Serre.

Many people will suggest Very Noise, but to me "Tout Petit Moineau" and "Cheval" are far more superior. Cheval is experimental but sounds very cool. ieuD is "Dieu" backward, which means God. They're having fun playing music at high level, they don't take themselves that seriously, but it's always a bliss to go back to them from time to time. Have fun

Hey there, just came across your video on Shadow of Intent and had to go through much of your videography. Your insight is amazing and is absolutely something I can use in writing music with my own band. Also, unlike many other reaction channels you take the time to discuss the music we hear, and are unapologetic of, yaknow, actually reacting to the music, I have a few suggestions that I think would be interesting for you to do. As far as Ive seen, alot of the stuff you do is bands that do alot with alot, complex technical riffs, progressive instrumentation and lots and lots of intricate little movements in their music. I love that too and have alot of suggestions along those lines as well, but for an example of a band that (I at least believe) does alot with a little, Traitors is probably up there. Now mind you, their music is very heavy and absolutely an acquired taste, so I dont expect you to like it, but their ability to use simple riffs and drumming, combined with amazing songwriting, to build and release tension, is beyond me. A good start with them would probably be the first (and in my opinion, among the best) track they ever released, Arrogance. It uses the Bass, dissonance and silence to great effect, and is simply a headbanging rootin tootin country ditty that never fails to get me hardcore dancing in my room. Another good one is Nescessary Death by END, not as heavy, and on the faster side of things, but in terms of simplicity it is not lacking, at only three minutes it is filled withamazing simple riff writing and a mastery of tension that can not be understated. On the more complex side of things, I would enjoy hearing your thoughts on some Vildhjarta, they are a very progressive band, and their new track, Den Helige Anden shows that music doesnt have to be simple to invoke primal emotions such as despair. They take such meticulous care in building their music, that this is the first track they have released in 7 years despite being an active band. I look forward to seeing more from you, be it metal or not, you provide valuable information and insight that I havent seen anywhere else on youtube.

The base genre is call Break Core, but Igorrr calls it Baroque Core. Igorrr is the name of the producer (DJ)(the bald guy) he creates all of his own samples (of which he plays guitar, bass and recorder himself) and mixes them into tracks like this beauty. he also uses samples of less usual instruments like vacumcleaner, giant metal tub, and chicken. he is mainly influenced by metal and classical genres, but also uses folk and even gypsy like music in some of his tracks.

I would recommend Satya, Immortal Bliss and Existence (from their self titled album from 1999), Moksha and Dime (both from their 2006 album, Formless) and Path (from their 2019 album, Entheogenic Frequencies, which is also completely instrumental). :)
