@catcat71gaming946 жыл бұрын
ShemyDjent what is a bass? Guitar is the only thing that matters in a band. Basslines should only be a single note played in halfnotes for the entire song and the bass players shouldn't be allowed at concerts because bass doesn't matter in songs. Bassists shouldn't make any money and there isn't a single bassist that is famous. Basses should all be burned and replaced by electric guitars.
The bassist is Erlend Caspersen, who has played with Spawn of Possession and Deeds of Flesh.

It really sounds like the old valses* you could hear in the traditionnals village dances (? I don't know a good translation for that kind of event) you found in France, 20 or 30 years ago. I remember when I was a kid, there always was a local little orchestra with an accordion, and a lot of valses, tangos and ofther dances that elders enjoyed. Later in the night, when they were tired, it was time for rock 'n roll, to please the generation of my parents (you know, the actual boomers), and after that, if the village was not too small, you even had a crappy DJ to put more contemporary hits (electronic dance music was the big new thing at that time). *I mean, mixed with metal, of course. :D

thanks France for having this weird genius ! the common genre is "experimental metal". im a big fan of IGORRR, and tbh he loves to mix genres in his songs. Classical, metal, jazzy things, baroque and so much more ! If you liked this song you may also like the whole album Savage Sinusoid. My fav song is Houmous. Im glad to see you playing this song !

Lucas Bruno explains why it's so shite
@lucasbrucas96326 жыл бұрын
Nathan Ross ooh, edgy. You can criticize metal and dislike the vocals but Travis Ryan is undeniably one of the strongest most dynamic metal vocalist out there
@mikehawkisb1g6 жыл бұрын
Lucas Bruno You mistake me for a non metalhead, when I'm quite the opposite, I just know when I see bullshit. Shitcore vocalists are nowhere close to dynamic, hate to break it to ya but overdubbing 100 screams doesn't make you a talented screamer, cup that mic harder will ya?
@lucasbrucas96326 жыл бұрын
Nathan Ross In what way is Travis Ryan\CD core? I've heard them be described as Death Grind or Grindcore which is granted core but doesn't come close to deathcore/metalcore. Imo they lean heavily towards death metal at this point in those their career. Also labeling all core vocalist trash is very narrow minded. Could you provide some vocalist you think are dynamic or talented so I can get an idea of what you consider good? Ps: listen to Kingdom of Tyrants by Cattle Decap at genuinely tell me Travis has no range. He goes from a high pterodactyl scream to a low guttural slam vocal smoothly and convincingly.
@lucasbrucas96326 жыл бұрын
Also the only time I hear Travis clearly overdubbing screams is to get freaky dissonant harmonies when he's half screaming half singing like in Kingdom of Tyrants. Also they have plenty of live performances that showcase his range without editing and they are all hard hitting.
