Matt said it had like 8 HP or something, so 12 damage wouldn't take it to -8 and permakill.

For real. I really love the challenge of visualizing that, too - bc there's a lot going on there! We've got Beau's normal chi punches, PLUS the Holy Weapon radiance, PLUS the lightning gauntlets' electrical arcs. Since it says the lightning gauntlets "extend her range while still being unarmed attacks," I like to imagine that she's swinging her fists in huge uppercut motions, and then crackling beams of holy lightning leap from her fists to the target instantaneously. So, at the moment she reaches the full extension with her punch, there's an instant, split-second arc of holy lightning that tears across the room to ravage her target. And in that moment when the bolt connects, there's a sharp smell of ozone, and the entire room is struck by a flash of holy light. I wanna see this animated SO bad.

@@therootb not to EVER shit on Matt, because I never would, but I've noticed quite a bit lately that what Matt does is not at all what the players were asking to do. Maybe I'm just not understanding certain parts of the rules, but there have been a few times where I noticed a player asking to move around an enemy while staying in range and Matt will have the enemy take an attack of opportunity even though the player asked to stay in range. I dunno if maybe Matt has asked players to be more specific behind the scenes and is being true to his word about something. I don't know, and I don't pretend to know, but I've noticed it a few times recently and it's got me quite confused
