Fun fact rick James is the nephew of Melvin Franklin the bass singer

This was a pivotal year for them. It was their 20th Anniversary and Two of them had left. Eddie Kendricks (The High Voiced Singer aka Falsetto) and David Ruffin (The Glasses). Rick is the Nephew of Melvin Franklin (Born David Williams) the Deep Based Fellow. Sadly enough with the exception of Otis Williams, all of the Temptations are dead some of Cancer Related. Glenn Carl Leonard was more "Filler" who left and became an Evangelist whose Wife Darcel Wynne was a Professional Dancer who worked on Solid Gold and was in Videos for Fresh by Kool & The Gang and in the Dancin' Segment in Xanadu. These guys were the prototype for every single Group that came after them in R & B including The Jackson Five. Next year will mark their 60th Anniversary as a Group. In future years other folks would work with them including Rod Stewart on The Motown Song and Elton John on a lesser known album called Duets with a cover of Shaky Ground. They also sang the Promo for CBS. They were even on a Fantasy Sequence on Moonlighting and sang with Bruce Willis in Concert. Rick also worked with Teena Marie as well as the Mary Jane Girls.

Yeah even in their 40s they still moved better than most younger singers at that time.

Y’all haven’t reacted to CLASSIC golden era Temptations from the 60’s when they were the biggest group on Motown in the it’s prime with the legendary lineup David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, Melvin Franklin, and Otis Williams with classics like My Girl, The Way You Do The Things You Do, Get Ready, Ain’t Too Proud To Beg, Since I Lost My Baby, I Wish It Would Rain, You’re My Everything, Beauty’s Only Skin Deep, Don’t Look Back, and many others. Then there are the hits after when Dennis replaced David with Cloud Nine, I Can’t Get Next To You, Papa Was a Rolling Stone, Ball of Confusion, Just My Imagination, etc.

Great reaction to a great song - one of the many that made my teenage years an especially happy time in my life. Glad to have been around and grooved to this beat. Just as glad, today, watching young 'uns show this music some love. Feel the funk, young brother and sister. Subbed !

Now you look at this Choreography and you can't tell me that BTS may have been influenced by them. In Korea they have as many as Eight Girls in a Group and they are just as strict with Choreography.
