Do you have any references about doing taxes and creating an LLC?

Hi! Love this website critique! I am a Norwegian based photographer and i would love to know what your think of my website, even though your will not understand anything of what is written! Haha! I specialize in weddings and familyportraits, but also do offer other services. I have recently upgraded my website, so it would be so useful to get a second opinion!

Photographers inside of my Senior Scoop membership get to apply each month to have their website reviewed! You can learn more here: hopetaylor.com/the-senior-scoop

I'd skip the testimonials section entirely and would advise you to drop it. Why? Testimonials ( as uncovered nearly 10 years ago), can be faked and worse - BOUGHT! Also, there are far too many photography websites out there using WHITE as their "go-to" or default background color. First, it's outdated and second, as science has already discovered and published - EYES are attracted to the BRIGHTEST part of any page, and last it smacks of laziness in the arena of customizing and personalizing your site. As in eBay or Google Search, Amazon, etc. As a photographer you never want the viewer to be attracted to, or distracted by - BRIGHT WHITE empty space. You want people to SEE and focus on your images first and foremost.

Thanks for watching! Testimonials are actually proven to be one of the best ways to market your business in 2024 - but should (of course) never be faked or purchased. Using screenshots of testimonials/client reviews can be an even better way to earn your customer's trust!

@@HopeTaylor It's too much trouble and can cause issues, so I'll skip it. Besides, I know who my clients are and many are Washington executives as well as execs of billion dollar companies. I'm only guessing, but pretty sure their privacy must be put first. . Ironically, Google, in 2020 selected one of my images for their "Image Of The Month." The irony is, I never submitted any. I just uploaded albums to my "Google Photos." I'm sure you're aware how many images Google receives each day, yes? I was pretty surprised by their email letter, to say the least. . Still, my primary image focus is on Landscape/Waterscape and Macro wall mural art style photography. It's #2 in worldwide sales markets, right behind weddings. I'd rather shove a thousand pins in my eyes than ever go back to weddings. . Now that we moved out of the US and live and operate on a tropical island - macro and nature imaging is readily available all year. Less muss, no fuss! I'm leaving the rat race (which is quite saturated), to those that wish to shoot it. I wish you all the best. I'll keep my eyes open for more videos. ~Alexa Shaw, Just A Simple Photographer
