From 3:53 to 3:57 , we can see that this is clearly one of the finest works of many humorous jokes found inside this video. This one is particularly funny as you would very obviously believe that when the medic from team fortress 2 exits the teleporter, that the gameplay should continue, and the medic from said game would be blown to pieces. But of course this is not true. Instead of the medic from team fortress 2 being obliterated by the stickybombs laid down by Fishtank in this video, the film cuts to a short portion of a fictional scene of the Earth and moon exploding. This raises the comedic value of the so-called clip, and sets a pattern in the viewer's brain, where they may assume that the sound of the Earth and moon exploding, would be a fairly loud and overbearing explosive sound. But instead of that, we get the iconic and popular 'boowomp' sound effect. A relic found within a TV show titled 'Spongebob Squarepants'. This sound is used when something disappointing or sad happens to a character or the environment. This sound was popularized by memes, and is now a staple of many different sound effects used in memes. And due to the fact that, as stated before, we naturally expected a loud explosion sound, but it was replaced by the 'boowomp' sound, the natural, expected result was differed and raises the comedic value exponentially. When all is said and done, many a people may have had a hearty chuckle, (as I did) or maybe didn't find the hilarity of it tantalizing enough to do the former. This doesn't necessarily mean that the joke is bad, or poorly executed, but the few people who didn't laugh did not find the joke to be funny. This is all natural, as comedy is in the eye of the beholder. I hope you enjoyed the reading experience I delivered in the first of many comments explaining in fine detail the jokes such people described before laugh at collectively.
