Nice collection Jennifer! Now i don't want to be a partycrasher or whatever and those tarantulacrib enclosure's look very nice but do u know u can keep and raise every kind of tarantula sling in a cricket box? Easy stacking, easy maintenance, perfect ventilation.. happy tarantula's, happy tarantula keepers. ;)

Thank you! I appreciate your advice and understand where you are coming from. Personally, I love my tarantula crib enclosures and will spend the money to keep my tarantulas in them! I do have a few critter keepers, but I only get them for my more arid species. I also photograph my tarantulas a ton and love the esthetic of the enclosures and how well they keep my spiders contained. They also provide the perfect clarity for filming feeding videos of my spiders that need more privacy when they eat. I can go on and on about tarantula crib enclosures. I know my enclosures will last a really long time, and I will, and have been able to use many of them over and over again for my spiders. I like how they make my collection look, too! I do agree that critter keepers are cheap and practical and still make for wonder enclosures but I wouldn't advise people to house a less than inch sized sling just because they could escape and that is a ton of space which can and cannot be great especially for a baby. A loose spider can be put at risk to anyone in the household and to itself or other pets that roam free in the home. Tarantula cribs are fabulous enclosures that were created in mind of tarantula keeping. They have every size crib you could need for any life stage of a spider or lifestyle of a spider. These enclosures can be very interchangeable with many different lid options that can extend the use of a specific enclosure for a specific spider. You're not being a party crasher because we'll this isn't a party. It's a KZbin channel. Everyone has the right to keep their tarantulas as they choose, and if I want to put all of my spiders in tarantula cribs, I will. That is my choice, my spiders. Of course, I always appreciate someone else's opinion because we are all keepers here, and if not, we are learning. Thank you so much for watching my video, I greatly appreciate your viewership😇🥰

Love your spirit and your channel, a loss of a pet , it is hard. We all feel we could have done more when it happens, I would advise to start journaling how you are keeping them, what happened and guesses. And answers when you find them. Don’t b3 to hard on yourself as inverts n amphibians sometimes die for unknown, reasons. Bless yo7 child!

Freddy is trying to find a female, once a male matures it might be better to keep him in a smaller enclosure so he doesn’t wear him self out, especially if you ever plan to breed, but he’d live longer in a enclosure half that size, meanin* a 3xtra month or two, just fyi, he’s really cool

Ahhh, yes, Mr. Freddy. I do understand your concern, and I appreciate the advice! My Freddy boy, he was my very first tarantula. I've had a few people ask me if I want to loan him put for breeding and unless someone wants to buy him for breeding I'll probably just keep him until he passes away. Since he is my first tarantula, I'd like to keep him just as a pet to love and enjoy! He does rest though in between his long walks, he only starts walking in the late afternoon after he's had a long nap and he always has fresh water available. I know keeping mature male tarantulas in bigger enclosures isn't everyone's idea, but I like that the boys can stretch their legs. I might breed some of my tarantulas in the future if I have a pair for them but other than that I would like to keep my spiders just as pets😇🥰 Thank you so much for watching, I greatly appreciate your viewership🖤😇🤟

Hi! I love that you noticed that😌💖 it's a suction cup piece with a partial loop to insert the plant to hold it in place. You can find something similar on Amazon! The ones that I have come from the fake hanging plants I bought for my enclosures, it holds the stem part of the hanging plant in place! I'm mad that my huntsman spider died ate every week Faithfully no problem and molted monthly no problem one day after feeding her three days later fat abdomen healthy she just died for no reason

Awe, I'm sorry to hear that! I don't think that it was from anything you did. Sometimes, spiders just "expire," ya know. She could have had something internally going on, but you just wouldn't know if they did because spiders don't always show symptoms that something is wrong. One of my jumping spiders ate one day and passed away the next, I was shocked, but like I said, sometimes they just run out of time💔 Thank you for watching! I appreciate your viewership😇🥰

@@CrybabyTarantula yeah! actually most of what we can find in the wild are females, and they are much larger than a male orb weaver spider.. it is so easy to determine the male from the female because they only differ from size.. and males are usually the smaller and has an appendage called pedipalp (a mini glove like in appearance). Each male pedipalp is equipped with a special structure that is used to transfer sperm to the female. This apparatus makes the male palp enlarged; it is often described as resembling a boxing glove. The mouthparts, called chelicerae, each end with a fang.

I feel you there friend! After I got my first three, I was obsessed. I told my husband that I would only be getting a certain amount... haha. Never happens, but my husband totally supports my hobby and he loves to instigate me buying a new spider, especially when your favorite pet store has a bunch of big tarantulas for sale, he really loves the big ones😇🥰 I honestly don't know what I'd be doing right now without my animals so I am so grateful I can fully indulge in the hobby❤️ thank you so much for watching, I appreciate your viewership🥰😇
